West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United - 20/04/13 @ 3pm (No TV)
Jill replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Still one of the most baffling decisions I've seen from another side, I was over the moon when he went off. Might go for a long walk away from all forms of communication when this is on. I really can't be fucked with it. -
Had less than 2 hours sleep despite being in bed by 10pm. Had to swing some kettlebells round before breakfast to burn off some nervous energy.
-
9 I think, no alcohol without food before 10.
-
Strawberry was canny last year out on the terrace. Think that's the only time I've been in there pre-match.
-
Couple of 50p scorecasts: Gouffran 2-1 Marveaux 3-1

I wish it was tomorrow already. I've just caught myself ironing, just for something to do.
-
On a similar note, people on my Facebook Thursday during the day posting about Sunday and how they can't wait for us to "stuff the mackems." Not even any sort of acknowledgment that we had an equally important game that night. Basically "fans" who only care about two games a season. Ah yes, no doubt they'll all be "on it" at half 6 tomorrow morning in preparation for the one match they might actually attend this season. Although they'll probably just watch it on the telly anyway.

I'm impatient for this now.
-
Me neither. Trying to think of somewhere that will be a good atmosphere but not overly crowded. Aye that's it like. A lot of it depends on when we actually get into town. Aiming for 9 but depends on buses etc. I'm good at getting up early on a weekend but the others, not so much.

Can't decide where to go pre-match.
-
We might have found the first thing that can out-creep Steven Taylor.
-
I called it but never got round to putting the bet on.
-
What are the arrangements for picking their fans off on Sunday?

Swedish commentator yesterday compared his cameo yesterday to Messis' for Barcelona against PSG, and it was a fair comparison as well IMO To be honest I was thinking it when he was stood on the sideline waiting to come on, massive lift for the crowd even though he wasn't fully fit. I just love the electric ripple that goes through the crowd when you have a player like that waiting to come on. It's a fantastic feeling.

Just realised my 41p bet yesterday didn't place properly, mustn't have confirmed it. £2.41 - Notts County, Southend, Wolves £1 - Newcastle 3-0
-
Win 3-0, no fannying about.
-
58p here. What did you get? I got 100/1. Can't remember off the top of my head but it wasn't as good odds as that. Maybe around 80/1. Tried to put a quid on Cisse 1-0 and another on Williamson anytime but couldn't get a signal so there's a bit saved for the weekend.

Absolutely gutted that the journey is over. It was a good effort on our part but just not quite enough. So proud to be a fan.
-
Bordeaux at home was a brilliant night.
-
Watched the Feyenoord goals on the bus into town. Total goosebumps all over.
-
41p on Sissoko 2-0. I'll probably put another few on when I've sunk several pints and think it's a good idea. None of them will win.
-
Had a stroll through Killy shops and a haircut to kill some time. What a desperate way to spend your day. Setting off for the bus into town in about 10 minutes. Starting to feel nervous.
-
Same here. Not sure why I took today off really, the anticipation is killing me. Think I'll force myself off to the hairdressers in a bit and get a haircut, the trauma of that should take my mind off the match.
