Yeah, you would like to assume that the purpose of a family area was to protect families, including young children, from any abuse or shenanigans. Thus it should be suitably placed within the ground as to be protected from any areas that have a higher likelihood of abusive chanting etc. The purpose of a family area should not act as a buffer zone between away and home fans or as a dampener in some long-shot hope that due to proximity to parents and children the hundreds of drunk - probably - away fans will behave.

Mentioned in a list, but that's not enough love for the Rufus!

What's the deal with adidas doing every MLS kit I've seen so far?

Excellent news.

Players are given specific lines on a pitch to press to and no further. We will have 2, 3 or even 4 set pressure lines in our match strategy and will have a starting point. Our line from the kick-off was extremely deep, ergo that was the plan and it cost us a goal. The overall point is: I don't want to see us sitting so deep from kick-off. I accept that it may be beneficial not to attempt to apply high pressure from kick-off because that might increase our vulnerability of conceding, but sitting too deep actually increases the likelihood of conceding. It can be counterproductive.

Without Ben Arfa extending his contract in the coming months I would be quiet concerned about him leaving in the summer. The closer it gets to the end of his contract, the less security we have and therefore the less leverage we have when determining our sale fee. There will come a panic point where we will have to listen to offers before his value sinks too low. Of course, there will always be a Ben Arfa release fee; a value that the club considers "too good to turn down". The club would be stupid not to have a value at which they will be willing to sell. I can think of very limited circumstances where it wouldn't make sense to do so. And to add a caveat, they may have an optimum sale time in mind.

I'm not sure how tiredness is responsible for camping outside your own area from kick-off. Far too soon and to be that conservative and got an early punishment. No way should we be putting ourselves in such a position at that stage of the match against that kind of opposition. I'm assuming that we planned to sit deep from kick-off btw. And nor our awful tendency to allow the opposition to take the initiative early in the second half.

What a fool.

Jonas Guitierrez, the new Danny Simpson. (in more ways than one)
-
What coaching experience does he have?
-
This season has been a failure and it is more to do with the lack of quality and depth in the squad than the managerial ability of Pardew.
-
Why am I not surprised?
-
All of that doesn't prove a jot to me. We shall wait and see if there is any real interest.

He's only been setting the world alight for the last month or so to my knowledge.

I wonder if Bale is the type who will get his head turned by a bigger club?

Tottenham are performing at exactly the same standard as they did last season. Almost to the point. And thus, they need to add better players to challenge the top two. The current crop wont. Still under the glass ceiling, which will wont be breached for the foreseeable future.

Mike Ashley has strong ties with Puma, doesn't he? We'll be wearing Puma kits for the foreseeable future.

Colo's face appears to have been used to clean out the sand blasters they use on the Forth Bridge.

I am all over the 90s'ness of that.

Very fashionable.

Sounds good and there is bound to be somebody with my real name and a season ticket that I can claim as being me in 10 years or so

... is what he's been telling Pardew for the last 2 years. He'll shake it off never.
