Any more injuries and Bournemouth will be in real trouble. I still think they'll take one place, and if Sunderland make the wrong choice at manager then that's two places sewn up. Those four home games mentioned above look weirdly ominous. If you play like you can (see the first half today) then I see no reason why you can't take 10 pts from those seven games. The problem is, anything less than three points from both Norwich and Stoke at home will be terribly demoralizing, and runs the risk of completely derailing the season. I still think that the ability to throw money about in the Jan window will prove crucial, and will end up saving you. A proper CB and CM would keep you up.

Goal difference worse than Sunderland now.

Weeeeewwww!

Fucking hell, went to the lavvy, came back, game over.
-
Are West Brom fans happy about all this? i feel like they've always thought of themselves as a club that plays good football.
-
I'm with you...but there may be ulterior (Liverpool/Spurs) motives as well.
-
Well I know that we weren't bothered, quite the opposite .
-
Genuine question: It felt like you spent a shit-ton of money this summer. Is there (in theory) more to spend in January?
-
That fifth goal. Fucking hell. He should have just immediately walked off the pitch into the night and never played again. "My work here is done".
-
Sure, but what about off the pitch?

Defend then try to hit us on the break with pace. He's been watching the videos. Still, if we get an early goal it could be fun.

Not Sure If Gusta - the "goal graphic" on the BBC text commentaries.
-
Haven't seen the tackle other than the BBC photo. Didn't look all that on there - was it a bad one?

I've completely lost track of all the changes and new players in MLS, but how have LA Galaxy been allowed to sign all these new guys?

He was ace, biased as f*** I recall him urging someone to "go on, skin him!" In that Poland game wasn't that the occasion Pearce come out with "Ready, Steady, Teddy!!!" when Sheringham scored? aye it's at the end. Rob Lee rounds the keeper and lays it off to him. He also went mental when we won in Zagreb. Absolutely mint, that. He's in full-on Robotwars mode. Was that shown on Channel 5? His commentary on the Spurs Arsenal semi-final - the Gazza free-kick - is one of the all-time greats. I actually have a tape of it somewhere. Edit: radio commentary - think it was on Capital.

This. A cartwheel and then a forward roll?! It's like he's doing a dance routine in year two gymnastics class. Utter s***. Not sure if it's been mentioned yet. But SSN using Football Manager stats when looking at players. Horrendous. I kinda like Keane's celebration . I figured that he always knew it was a little bit shit.
-
Or if he doesn't score. I still think Kane had a good season last season, but way above how talented he actually is and he'll struggle. I'm actually not worried about his talent at all, but he's fucking knackered already.
-
God knows what we do if Kane gets injured. Or if we actually have to play any cup games at all.
-
19 - convinced myself Sanchez cost more than Ozil for some reason.

poor dear is enslaved at man united Exactly the opposite of enslaved too, he's getting paid to do fuck all.
-
Awful, awful week .

Hmm. 50% possession 1 shot on target (we had 4, not including the goal we generously donated) 1 corner (we had 2) Of course, that's only data. No enrichment in the process in that game though.
-
Hey, we don't do all that bad in it! Personally I'd rather the PL only had one spot in the CL, but there you go.
-
Word. People keep dragging it out of retirement too. The best is still any Brazil 70 goal.

A striker at last! Is he any good?
