Unfortunately not, he's got a couple of cracking threads in the Hall of Fame section.

Easy to mock them at the moment but consider the plight of true fans like Lee Craig Stewart http://www.lcs.im/blog/football-many-years-many-emotions/

Be thankful we've still got any. If what I've witnessed around the coast these past few weeks reflects young support loyalty, many of them have opted for Man City or Chelsea! Many will say it's arguable that its understandable young bairns are swayed this way - especially the state of the club atm - but I still can't understand it. Not once when I was a young did I ever think about supporting anybody else. Gloryhunting bairns are little shites.

Was gonna say, I swear his head is stuck on there

Tries too many stepovers and tried to go past his man too much IMO, no point doing that when there's a chance it'll fail. Better off passing back into midfield like the bloke stinking out the opposite flank. He's clearly a talented footballer but it's no guarentee he'll be a success here. Unlike Ben Arfa who has the explosiveness to still be effective in our static football he's going to come in for a lot of criticism.

By the way is it going to become a thing that anybody criticising him is doing it because of his history and not because they don't rate him? Gonna get pretty tiring if that's the case. We had Tiote and Cabaye when we finished 5th, and although they never quite functioned as a pair its worlds away from Colback and Anita at the moment because you felt they both had a purpose. That progress we made after shipping Nolan out for Yohan been reversed. Pretty disappointing but par for the course with the way the club is ran I guess.

No real weaknesses? I'd argue he doesn't score goals, doesn't create goals, struggles to drive forward with the ball and can't play incisive passes. That's based on his SAFC career and mackems I know agree. He's neat and tidy with his passing but that's about it.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe
ponsaelius replied to Tooj's topic in Football
The only thing he offered on the wing was the goal threat when he drifted into the box. Kinda understandable considering the bloke is a striker. He's a fucking joke as a wide player quite frankly, yet seems to be free from criticism in the stands because he works hard and passes safely to teammates. Imagine playing a system with one striker and then having a winger in the team who only offers workrate Beyond the pale. -
What a player Rakitic has turned into since he went to La Liga

Never has an academy player played so many games for Barca while clearly not ever being good enough than Tello. OK, Oleguer. After Oleguer.
-
He's not even a bad player, just a fucking dull and average one.
-
He had a good game yesterday in that his game suits Pardewball to a tee, lots of comfortable and safe passing in midfield. Perfect for a side with no movement or dynamism going forward like our lot. No surprise to see fans creaming themselves over his displays while the players entrusted to try to break the slow, tentative, static style of play on their own like Cabella and sometimes Sissoko are coming out with criticism for their obviously poor displays. Pretty sure it was the same when he was at Sunderland; lots of praise for him playing well then realising at the end of the game they'd scored no goals. His set pieces are an improvement on what we had though, so that's a plus.

Got to be asking the question why he can't even get in the Denmark squad nevermind their XI, when Denmark are shite.

Saw him play last season at Marseille vs Evian and he was the best player on the pitch. He was playing left back (box ticked) getting up and down and had great delivery/passing. Think he's usually right sided player though. [/Thinly veiled I went to the South of France post]

Polic is fucking ruthless

There was 4 of them, fuck buying a round.

Would take Welbz

You can get 66/1 if you really fancy it

I met the Xisco fan club at Barca B vs Cordoba last season

He was shite last season. Lost a lot of time for him after previously I always maintained he'd thrive being the main man at a team. Instead he just sulked abnd strolled worse than ever and then topped it off with a poor World Cup. Still a very talented player, but this is the 3rd time we're seeing him move somewhere and people talking about it being THE move that will unlock his career. It hasn't happened under Mourinho, Mancini and even Prandelli (who defended him like he was his son) got tired in the end. I'm not betting on Rodgers having any more success. FWIW I still think it's a good signing; he improves their squad. But it'll last two years before Raiola moves him somewhere else for a similar fee (and similar slice of the pie for himself).

I dunno That Man City team did ok with Fernandinho last year and they've just bought Fernando who's main job seems to be run around and kick people too. Oh and didn't Real win the CL playing Pepe in midfield last year? Can't remember him dictating play, his job is simply win the ball back and give it to someone who can play. Fernandinho is a great box-to-box midfielder. Certainly not just a destroyer.

Don't really want to see him sold, which is a bit weird as I don't rate him that highly. Think it's the obviousness of the clubs policy being put into action - player edges towards 28/29 and the latter years of their deal so MUST BE SOLD to avoid losing out on that profit. Nevermind what they might offer as a player over the coming years.
-
Balotelli will inevitably move from team to team so long as Raiola is his agent.

Vuckic is only 21 as well so doesn't need to be registered.
