Fair play to Parker and Dawson. Two players I've never been a fan of, both had great games.

They're crap like. So blunt.
-
four minutes for the bants clearly.

Anfield Cat @AnfieldCat in my 3 minute cameo I've ran past more players than Stewart Downing has all season #anfieldcat #meow

You missed a cat. A bit of MMA. Laser Quest. Gareth Bale being shit.

Carroll/Suarez/Gerrard winner for 1-0 here, surely.

IDIOT.

Spurs barely trying to get out their own half. Too much respect to an average team, just like us when we went there.

Horrible little CUNT. The sooner he's chased from these shores the better.

Awful game. Adebayor has been hopeless.

Liverpool win.

Every time Pardew talks about our best players he mentions him. When we signed Cissé he talked of his excitement of adding him to 'Ba, Cabaye, Ben Arfa'. Strange that he mentions Hatem instead of features in the team like Obertan and Jonas. Wish he'd just man up and play him regularly - his runs in the side have coincided with us playing either the top teams in the country, having key players out, adopting a new system or by simply throwing him on from the bench. His best game of the season was wide right of a 4-4-2 in the cup and yet we haven't seen it since. He talks like he rates him highly, praises his goal as the best thing he's ever seen and even commends his workrate recently - yet he seems to be contriving circumstances where he's gonna struggle to impact or get any kind of momentum going in the team.

You'd still struggle to get an Alan Smith goal though.

Frimpong out for 6-9 months. Ouch.

Krul hasn't 'rescued' points. He's a brilliant goalkeeper and goalkeepers are part of the team.

FFS. He was at Liverpool before us and had a couple of loans. I'm really glad he's playing as he is. I did find it quite strange how last season was such a non-event for him, he'd been such a pivotal player in the promotion season and I wasn't with these people who said he wasn't a Premier League player. It looked like the Premiership was too fast, strong and athletic for him. Whereas you do get more time and space in the Championship. Danny has excellent technical ability, especially for a British midfielder. And this season he's worked on his conditioning and has shown for more desire for the game. Disagree, I think the Championship is played at a ridiculous tempo, it's kick and rush and a lot of in your face tackling. It's not like. It's slower physically, mentally and technically. It's nowhere near as quick as the top flight and you get far more time and space - anybody with an ounce of technique thrives down there. Look at how many goals/assists people like Taarabt and Wittingham plunder. You only have to be above average with the ball and you'll piss the division. The amount of times we would gift possession away and not be punished was ridiculous too.

I agree, apart from with José.

I always knew he was talented, but I never thought he'd be this good. Plenty of foreign kids come into English teams at 16/17 and never make it.

The excuse would be not spending until we've played the qualifier.

It's amazing how things have started to fall into place for us in the last year. For example we get one of the best strikers in the league for fuck all and this lad has just decided to turn into one of the best keepers around. Would be criminal to waste this opportunity to build on what we have.
