  1. Not as thick as you and a damn sight richer. Great argument. Conjecture on both counts, you do know what that means don't you?
  2. If Brown spent more time at the training ground rather than the tanning studio, maybe Hull would be higher up the table.
  3. They Police were told they were acting suspiciously by the CCTV operators, if there's any institutional racism its in CCTV operation. "Both myself and my friend, Lee, were accused, by Cheshire police officers, of 'attempted theft'. Sadly, even when I explained who I was and what I was doing, they continued to treat both of us as not just suspects but as criminals" Anichebe proving footballers are thick as **** as well, with this quote. So they should have left you alone Victor when you said you weren't guilty? LOL
  4. Yeah, I remember reading Jonny Wilkinson's autbiography and he said the England rugby team weren't allowed to say anything in interviews that would spur the other team on, that's probably why its been taken down.
  5. Agree with this. We have been shocking this season, if we lose to Hull on Saturday then we don't deserve to be in this league (based on this season, not that 1 game). It isnt like we are showing more ambition than any of the teams around us as well, infact probably less ambition out of all of them. Should we lose, the only people left who believe we deserve to be in the Premiership of English football, are those blinded by their support. Rubbish, the teams that deserve to go down are those who get the least points. Not really, theres only 3 teams that can go down, many more deserve to. How? It doesn't make sense. If you get enough points to stay up, you deserve to stay up, if you get the most points, you deserve to win the league.

  7. Nah. Even if you do read it that way, then you can't ignore that he's blaming the owners for causing the fans' reaction and therefore the responsibility would ultimately lie at their door. I have to say that to pick out that rather tenuous interpretation and ignore the rest of what was said suggests that you might possibly have an agenda against the writer, wonder why that might be? You did see the quote from Keegan didn't you, why no accusations sent in his direction? Do I have an agenda? Not trying to be smart or anything but it depends on the interpretation of agenda. I think Ryder is a very poor journalist but I have nothing against him as really the Chronicle has had its day in my opinion. You're right that ultimately blame would lie with Ashley for causing the bad feeling amongst the fans but the way I read the paragraph I pointed out it was saying that the negativity from fans was transferring itself to the pitch which is why we're now in a relegation fight. It may be a short paragraph on a theme not central to his blog but sometimes these small snippets reveal a lot! Reason I posted is that I wanted to see if I read it correctly, nothing more. I ignored the rest as in my opinion the rest isn't worth commenting on and as I said I wouldn't get into a discussion with Ashley sympathisers (which is how the thread would go if I brought up the other issues) as I haven't got a lot of time for them. Just as they probably haven't got a lot of time for my views. None of us are going change our positions. With regards to Keegan’s comment, he may have had a go at the fans in the past when we’ve gone through a sticky spell but I very much doubt he would blame the fans for being in a relegation dog fight. There’s only two reasons for being in a relegation fight; poor players or a poor manager, a mixture of both. You read it right. Lee is blaming the way supporters have reacted to the Mikes’ ‘eventful stint in charge’ for the team’s failings, not how Mike has actually run the club. Selling your best players and appointing a joke manager with a dicky heart has nothing to do with NUFC staring relegation in the face according to Lee. Sold our best players?, like who? N'Zogbia, I guess. Strange how so many people rate N'Zogbia now that he's left...
  8. And Martins using that logic. There's nothing stopping us selling Ameobi or Carroll this summer, its happened loads in the past, players signing new contracts then leaving at the end of the season.
  9. He says Pallister has a big bulge (i.e. in the crotch area ) Then congratulates him on the size of his cock.
  10. If you have anything at all positive to say about Ashley I wouldn't bother going. I listened the last meeting and when someone said he wasn't total anti-Ashley he was laughed at by everyone. I don't really see the point in the meetings. Ashley has done this wrong...Agreed! Ashley has done that wrong...Agreed! Ashley has actually improved the club in this area... ...HAHAHAHHAHA
  11. Other results shouldn't bother us, i.e. tonight's result should be ignored because if we win on Saturday we look safe (or at least safer) again. Make your minds up again after the Hull game, not after other team's games.
  12. There's so much wrong with that post it's hard to know where to start but the bolded bit...I disagree that JK is a worse manager than Allardyce, and if you are saying that it was wrong to pay out so much money to get rid of the fat faker, then obviously that negates your point about paying Keegan off as he would never have been here, we'd still have Allardyce, heading to Hull with a ten man defence and hoofing the ball 50 yards for Owen to scrap for. We wouldn't even be in the Premiership now had we kept Allardyce on. Oh and HappyFace, ask yourself what do the three players you mention all have in common? Answer is they all asked to leave. You have to sell contracted players now? That'll be news to Gareth Barry, Christiano Ronaldo, Stewart Downing etc. They are exceptions to the rule really. Although I dunno if Real even submitted a formal bid for Ronaldo. As for Downing, it hasn't done Boro much good keeping him.
  13. **** me. You been watching Newcastle for more than three seasons? There have been tens of players in the Premiership era alone who have been more of a waste of time, Owen's goals this season are keeping us out of the relegation zone, and kept us in the division last season.
  14. This season we've swapped. Coloccini for Rozenhal Bassong for Faye R.Taylor for Ramage Guthrie for Emre Jonas for Milner Nolan for Zog In crude terms anyway, some aren't direct swaps. Also lost Given and signed Xisco and Lovekrands, most of those are improvements, I wouldn't say we've become a selling club yet.
  15. Carroll and Edgar are the only "reserves" with first ream experience so there's no-one to come through and replace them. This doesn't even make sense, you can only come into the first team if you have first team experience? How are you supposed to get first team experience if you aren't allowed to step up? I thought the whole point was the 'reserves' come into the first team to prove themselves.
  16. The journalist who wrote that Bassong article must have a Lens missing from his glasses, he can't even get Bassong's old club right.
  17. the masses are rapidly rallying around offering support to Ashley's running of the club in massive numbers now. Xisco ? Lovenkrands ? A new contract for Ameobi ? Ryan Taylor ? Blows the mind away. Lovenkrands already has two goals and seems decent, he was never bought to be first choice though. Xisco is a Spain U21 international and hasn't really been given a chance this season. Ryan Taylor, too soon to comment. Ameobi? Can't argue there, rubbish.
  18. You do know he hasn't left yet? Yes I do know he hasn't left yet but its nice to see he is talking about it. Could have kept his mouth shut and kept it out of the public eye, but no he has made it public. So it sounds like someone making noises about leaving. Like rats leaving a sinking ship. Or rats responding to rumours that they may be leaving a sinking ship.
  19. The point relates more to the one in the article from the OP that part of valncia's problem is the rate at which they go through managers. Ashley has gone through 3 managers in one season.....but is sticking with the worst one. If you think Allardyce is a worse manager than Kinnear then it serves to further illustrate how clueless you are. At least I'm not so clueless to totally distort the point of the OP in order to get my digs in and pretend it was praising Ashley for "running things well". "Let's all give thanks to uncle Mike...." "the titles a piss take obviously" keep going though bonny lad, doing well....
  20. Anyone know if Vuckic is involved in this: http://www.uefa.com/competitions/under17/fixturesresults/index.html Or any other of our youth players?
  21. You do know he hasn't left yet?
  22. Paying add-ons is different to paying in installments though. We would still own Xisco outright even with add-ons as we might not have to pay the add-ons if he doesn't score the requisite amount of goals or whatever.
