Brilliant Decision by Rafa you all need to cut the gouff some slack. -
reports in London say no such deal has been reached yet and Abraham is still unsure about moving to the Magpies. The London Evening Standard say Brighton remain keen and could have a better chance of signing him. It is said the England Under-21 international has some reservations about moving up north and being far away from his family. That could give Brighton the upper hand over their fellow newly-promoted rivals but the Toon are confident of getting the deal done. This is turning into such a farce for someone with no premier league experience we need to tell him to jog on and move on to the next target.

Quote from Chelsea. Chelsea are keen for one of their most exciting prospects to spend at least one season at St James’ Park as they want to expose him to the pressure and expectation that will come at such a big club.
-
Dont know if you can read anything in the fact that,Tammy Abraham and Brighton & Hove Albion loan signing Fikayo Tomori are best mates.

Described as a fox in the box, just what we need. Hope he doesn't choose Brighton's proximity to London, a potential key factor for him.

Newcastle ‘agree’ terms with Pepe Reina. One well-reported transfer story has been advanced on Thursday, as it’s been claimed that Newcastle are closing in on a Liverpool old-boy. The focus of the transfer news is Napoli stopper Pepe Reina. Reina’s position at Napoli has come into question in recent days after the 34-year-old stopper fell out with the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis. The breakdown happened after De Laurentiis stood up at the club’s end of season dinner party, turned to Reina, and told him he “has to to give up some outside distractions to become stronger”. Yolanda Ruiz, the goalie’s wife, was at the event, and she reportedly got up and walked out at that point. De Laurentiis reportedly tried to insist he was just making a joke, however that explanation fell on deaf ears. Reina’s Napoli contract expires in 2018, but many now believe the keeper could leave the club this summer instead. Update from Tancredi Palmeri Italian reporter Tancredi Palmeri has reported on Thursday that Newcastle have now agreed terms with Reina, who obviously has a working relationship with Rafa Benitez from their time at Liverpool. It’s also worth noting that reports in Italy this week claimed Polish keeper Wojciech Szczesny, who has spent the year on loan at AS Roma, is poised to leave Arsenal to join Napoli in the off-season.

If we dont win this one then we dont deserve to go up lets smash them. -
Well done fat man you have doomed your club to another season in the 2nd division. The gap will now get larger over another season. This was our one and only chance to wake up from the big sleep. But the fatman has phucked it up again. Thanks for trying Rafa even in your short time, you showed us how a club should be run. Will be sorry to see you go but you have no option now that you have been screwed over like so many before you.

Do the loan and when palace go down we will keep Townsend and get Mbemba back.

http://talksport.com/football/top-30-biggest-football-clubs-britain-30-number-one-ranked-161224221224?p=6 Even though Newcastle are in the second division this season – although we are still pulling in 52,000 home gates and record crowds away from home – talk SPORT has ranked Newcastle United as the eighth biggest club in Britain. Since they are talking about that hypothetical “big” and what really is a “big” club – talk SPORT has defined what they mean by the adjective – and what factors they took into account in their rankings. This is part of their definition of what constitutes a big club. “A variety of factors, including size of support, wealth, standard of stadium, current standing and historic success.” “We’ve taken all these aspects into account – giving more weight to current situation than the past.” “With less and less importance attached to events as you delve further into the history books– and come up with a ranking of the top 30 biggest football clubs in Britain.” “Inevitably there are areas of dispute and clubs who narrowly missed out on making the cut.” Newcastle are above several current Premier League clubs including West Ham, Leicester City, Sunderland, Southampton, Stoke City, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough, Watford and Burnley. Newcastle are also one place above Celtic in the rankings with Sunderland ranked 13th – unlucky for some. The only surprise to us is that Everton are just above us in 7th place but the other clubs above us we would have expected. Here’s the top 10 clubs in Britain: Manchester United Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea Manchester City Tottenham Hotspur Everton Newcastle United Celtic West Ham United

Well the FA's rules are open to interpretation, and there is no definitive example of breaking the rules, and as it's not a matter of UK law then having a QC wouldn't make any difference. QC's are used to fighting actual laws where if omitted it's either right or wrong, which is a lot easier to fight than whatever agenda the FA have at any one time. Yeah like the off-side rule open to interpretation.
-
The FA being the bunch of idiots they are didn't expect Jonjo to have a witness & contend the charge, so now it boils down to he said this & the witness saying he didn't say that my gut feeling is the best QC in the land can't get you off an FA charge

Quotes from spurs forum on Sissoko I think we've signed a donkey with a terrible first touch a lack of composure and a touch of the "le sulk" attitude Problem with Sissoko is that has no technical skills. He's poor man's Victor Moses. At least Moses scores once in awhile and give all on the pitch. Sissoko needs to be Shanghaied by January. I'm sure the Chinese would pay good money for him. I have seen nothing from him to indicate that things will change. He cannot pass, he cannot cross, he cannot shoot. At 27, he is unlikely to improve. If he does not improve by January, he needs to be moved on

just 1 place behind the scum but 26 points ahead of them! how does that work!

Sunderland haven't won any of their last 24 Premier League matches contested in either August or September.

Issac Hayden centre-back or in central-midfield, whilst having also previously featured at right-back and as a playmaker. Wenger F***ked up letting him go in my opinion. Why have an academy then let players like Hayden go.
-
Wenger replaced Issac Hayden with Rob Holding from Bolton.
