Think people are jumping the gun about the Arsenal fan like, he seems areet. Calm down.

Think West Ham is a step too far mate. You could try Orient I've looked into that, it's fucking dear. Was at least 25 quid a ticket IIRC.

Olympic Stadium is just down the road from me and apparently when West Ham move in there are season tickets going for as little as £289. At that price I might be tempted, just to pop down there when I fancied watching some live football.

Well they won't want him for the good of their Delph lollllllll But fucking seriously lads, that would be a depressing transfer like. He's only just committed himself very publically saying he's proud to be Villa captain etc.

The Times this morning saying the same, that the decision being taken out of Pearson's hands led to a breakdown in trust. That after all of the previous issues.

Rumours or not, I'd be very surprised if he goes to Palace. His agent's doing a shite job if he can't do better than that for him.

It's a bit of a cliché but I believe that Arsenal need a few more leaders around the pitch like they used to have when they won stuff and Cech's a character who hates losing and leads by example. He's also still a really good keeper, I thought he was wobbling a few years ago but he's been steady since. When they had players of genuine quality who would lead the side and not stand for losing, like Vieira, Henry, Gilbert Silva, Bergkamp, even Lehmann and Campbell and Lauren and Cole, it meant they won loads of honours even playing the game as attractively as they did. Players like Ozil and Walcott and Giroud are shrinking violets in comparison. They need more leadership, not necessarily steel or brute force (see Henry, Bergkamp, etc) but players who want to win and take responsibility for it happening more often than not. That season unbeaten is the greatest achievement in the modern English game, there was little to no luck involved and it was the only time it had happened since the 1900s. Doubt there have been many teams who lost only 1 or 2 either, even the best teams lose a few with the average for a title winning side about 5 or 6. If they added 3 more players with that sort of character down the spine of their team to go with all of the other talent they have I think they'd seriously challenge. Easier said than done though, it would cost them a fortune and they'd probably have to bite the bullet and pay for proven quality over potential.

You're on your final warning.

It's amazing how we can only sort out one thing at a time as well. Should employ some women who can fucking multi-task.

Even taking into account the reputation of our regime, surely people weren't expecting much action before July. One, two signings at the most. I'm totally on board with the scepticism and worry but perhaps it's not quite time to panic. Like I've said earlier, if we haven't made ANY progress whatsoever by next weekend, then I'll start the onslaught. If might only be two weeks but there's a big difference between mid June and the start of July, in terms of the transfer market. After all, alot of players are on holiday. We will all be disappointed come September anyway. FFS. Don't start slagging them off yet, it's too early for that. But by September we'll know it will have been a shit window. Might as well start slagging them off whenever tbh, I stand to be corrected.

Think Stifler pays for his whenever he's down tbf.

You are a big club joey, don't listen to them.

? 8 years of this shite not enough for you like? Cynicism goes until it's been proven wrong.

It's partly the fact that we rarely have (m)any new signings playing a decent preseason with us. Every summer we reflect on numerous previous transfer windows of little transfer activity that has left the squad short by sitting on our hands wondering how long until the fans notice and go mad. With tens of millions in the bank. It's bullshit, but it's our deceitful, backwards transfer policy.

They aren't going to sign Falcao and Austin. They might well have 2 strikers to replace but I'd be inclined to agree.
