  1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/2429087.stm Knew I didn't imagine that.
  2. Fucking better win us the league, otherwise what the fuck's he smiling at all the time.
  3. Well you're in for a world of hurt.
  4. Phenomenal work when a news source manages to make a 100-word "article" irritatingly repetitive.
  5. Even if they spend an absolute fuckload it's no guarantee of success like. Some players from foreign leagues hit the ground running but loads of them need time to settle. Not sure if there are many examples of a club changing more than half of their first eleven then going on to win the league, there might be a couple but it's not common.
  6. Agree although it seems slightly unfair in a sense. Them challenging next season would be enough IMO. The squad had become a bit of a mess before LVG took over. Chelsea's squad is more well suited to churning out enough results to win the title I think.
  7. Cavani would be good, I really can't see Kane leaving Spurs at this stage though. It'd cost them Sterling money and as great as he was last year it'd be a risk.
  8. It depends who is available I suppose, there's a real dearth of talent at centre half these days so it might not be as straighforward as throwing money at it. Ramos would be a great signing, obviously. Add Lloris and Shola and they're sorted. Would cost a fortune though, obviously. Actually they could do worse than Remy tbh.
  9. Aye it's pretty perplexing that they've not strengthened in central defence yet, unless they're planning to do so. 3 players down the spine (CB, CF, GK if De Gea's off) that are strong characters and just about the finished article and they'll challenge for the title next year IMO.
  10. Is there anything in the fact they're all quite physically slight, is it not that physical a league?
  11. Free tickets to Flamingo Land? http://i.imgur.com/SPjyirF.png
  12. Quite often he was in a team of 11 (ELEVEN!) players and was one of only 2 or 3 attacking players FFS. In that case, I'd rather he conserved his energy for attacking.
  13. Looks happy and confident, therefore assuming he's a worldbeater.
  14. This comes across slightly creepy.

    Yohan Cabaye

Just remembered "this skilful prick" re David Bentley.
  16. As I said when I heard the link a few weeks back, this is another level of slimy horrible bullshit if it goes through. Fair enough if he'd simply signed a new deal but the lad was going on about wanting to lead Villa for years to come, only to volunteer himself for Man City bench duty 6 months later. Depressing state of affairs.

Pardew was a baller, deserves a mention.
  18. We're really short on capable wingers like, needs sorted. If Cabella's to leave we need 2 new wingers that are up to the job.
