Worst start to an NUFC game I've ever seen. -
Dropped 11 places.

There should never be a winter World Cup. -

Sammy's about a year older than Kane btw.

What does this mean? You on about when we replaced him with Dalglish who led us to 2nd place with Keegan's squad before being given a chance to fuck it up? is dom77 not a scouser talking about replacing him as a player with funnily enough Daglish? Aha, I see.

If you read Keegan's autobiography he's the first to admit that he always ensured he was well rewarded for his talent, including his stint as an NUFC player when he astutely negotiated a share of the improved gate receipts. Not sure what difference that makes, footballers weren't raking it then like they are now either. He's the best thing to ever happen to this club and it's wildly inaccurate to say he was wrong to leave on either occasion or that he did so without good reasons. It's funny how his biggest detracters are always the ones that appear so butt-hurt over those departures, you'd think they'd have been glad to see the back of him.

"Chris Houghton". Absolutely no excuse.
-
Yeah, he wasn't out of form at all although I'm sure we'll soon hear otherwise. Biggest example of a 12 month purple patch turning into a huge transfer that there is.

Can remember them Llambias quotes, "Liverpool were late with a payment, and Moik charged 'em £xk fackin' interest!" like it was something for us to hang our hat on.
-
Sums it up for me. Most of what I see isn't my type of football either, but I was spoiled in my early years supporting the club.
-
That young lasses' rowing team play better football than us.
-
I was at that game as well, the home support was worse than Fulham's.
-
I wouldn't swap Keegan's first managerial stint for anything, for example Dalglish's Blackburn won the league but there's not a hope in hell I'd swap it for that.
-
It will unravel, our time will come. He's too shit for it not to and he won't be bailed out at Palace every time the players grow tired of his bollocks.

I watched our League and European Cup winning team get turned into a relegated side in six seasons. Mostly it was Ellis's fault, but to a large extend it was down to Graham Turner and Billy *spit* f***ing McNeill. When I see Sherwood I think of the arrogance of McNeill compared with the "out of his depth cluelessness" of Graham Turner. Graham Turner is one of the most over rated managers ever, I could never understand the hype because of what he did at Shrewsbury, I hated him. I couldn't believe it when you appointed him. WTF, did they get him on the strength of Shrewsbury having a couple of FA Cup runs while treading water in the second tier?
-
It's the fact he's not been much cop and neither have Everton, it takes the piss that he'll say stuff like that but then again nothing surprises you anymore.
