Much like the year we went down, I've been in denial this season. Since I woke up today I've been pretty sure we're going down though. The list of teams we've failed to beat this year is alarming, it'll take a small miracle for us to pick up enough points IMO. The knacker in the dugout needs to go or we've got no chance.

It's completely believable and I will be more shocked if it doesn't happen. Well yeah, me too.
-
It's fairly believable tbh, and I couldn't be arsed to put SSN on.
-
Oh fuck off.
-
Wrong thread, I got mixed up, leave me alone.

Toulouse out on this transfer would be difficult to take like.
-
Arsenal 3-1 West Ham. I just basically get very few scores/results right these days, it's pissing me off.
-
That cavalier lunatic Pardew needs to swallow his pride and choose to shut up shop once in a while.
-
Somebody please put "ON SUICIDE WATCH" on the N-O banner.

Not even when he's signed. He actually has to be in our team for a match. That's the level of scepticism we're now at. I won't believe it till he's been on Jeremy Kyle and had a DNA test to prove its him. All of these posts are brilliant.

You almost lost me with the sympathy thing but the bit in bold seems like it could be case. It's just who he is, he's inherently negative.
-
Fucking incredible. It's not like we've picked up many draws either.
-
I find that very hard to believe That people listen to Adrian Durham? no he's rather amusing and very good at his job of winding people up Genital warts are more amusing than Adrian Durham.

His original NUFC contract was for 5 and a half years. Not that it's that relevant, I just remembered, that's all.

I know.

It looked like we were sailing to victory with not a problem until Pardew started f***ing about with things, the fans were understandably frustrated at the ridiculous decisions they were seeing. The fans have been very supportive and patient this year, home and away. First sign of a few boos after months of watching absolute s**** on the pitch, and the manager's blaming it for the defeat and 2 turbo-s*** youth players are having a pop on Twitter. It's not the sort of thing that breeds good relations between the 2 parties. As I said in my post above, I didn't see the game so I'm going off the Twitter feed. Didn't realise there was more to it than just taking Cabaye off. Hmm OK. Personally if I hadn't seen the match then I wouldn't comment. Amazes me when people do that on here. The first match I've missed in two years and I'm getting stick I was going off everyone's twitter comments, a lot of which seem solely aimed at the Cabaye substitution, without any real mention of the things leading up to it. I'm sorry, you've touched a nerve there, that's all. I've seen people come into match threads after the match, openly admit they never watched the game then proceed to accuse people of overreacting about how bad the performance was. It's incredible, they don't even put themselves through it then they have a go at the people that do. But yeah, fair enough.

It wouldn't surprise me whatsoever. If that is true and he's turned it around on the fans then he's a despicable prick. Not sure we'll ever know for sure. I'm almost convinced Cisse and Colo were fine for Brighton though.

Maybe he's playing the game really well and they're believing him when he says it's all down to injuries.
-
Having actually heard it it's even worse, it's basically "Pah, they were booing me even though Cabaye was injured, and that didn't help me as the negativity affected those on the pitch so we ended up losing", it's fucking outrageous stuff.

This is very fair comment, whether Pardew was wise to say what he did wasn't what I was talking about. I agree, it was unwise to even talk about the fans. But let's get it in context, it was a throw-away comment in answer to a direct question about fans booing the Cabaye sub. It wasn't an attempt to blame the fans for us losing the game. Not that this post will make any difference to anyone, carry on. Somebody asked. It was an attempt at an excuse and an attempt to make the fans look stupid. Just watching MOTD now and that incident will be discussed in isolation, the Marveaux sub and the change in style of play (i.e. shitting ourselves when we go 1-0 up, at the instruction of the manager) will probably not be mentioned.

Why not him? I don't know loads about him so I'd ask again: why him? Don't see any obvious reason why he's the answer whatsoever, other than him being available.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with us bringing in an unknown quantity from a foreign league to keep us up. We're in dire straits it would be massively risky. I really want Martin Jol, I don't want anyone else.
