It's a shame that Nolan is such a thorn in the side when it comes to putting out our best squad. You can't blame him really. We bought him when it should have been clear from scouting that he had been shite for bolton for a while. Hughton must realise that there is a better player available for every position that Nolan can play. Play Arfa/Loven instead of Nolan, then you lose Barton or Tiote to Nolan in midfield. It's a conundrum, like. Can't see it being addressed at all.

Currently my favourite player at the club. It would be enrique if it weren't for Colo's joyous celebrations when we score. Always makes sure he gets in there for a hug with the goal scorer, seen him kissing RTaylor (I think) on the cheek when he scored. I know Nolan has earned the tag as Mr Newcastle lately, but Colo is getting up there for me.

My preferred approach would be to just play them off the park. I don't care for changing the team in order to be bigger and stronger.

Yes, LOTG state that the shinguards must be covered at all times. The 3rd point from LOTG is laughable as most players want the smallest possible shinguards and look like they borrowed their 7yr olds shinguards. No wonder they roll around on the ground after each tackle. Why do they prefer smaller shin pads? I remember the ones I used in school, they were huge. They went around the ankle and all sorts. I thought they were class. They looked bullet proof tbh.
