There was a massive lack of sales compared to when we were with Castore and Puma in the 2nd half of the season last year, in fact they kept bringing out more ranges. I know under Castore the club shop took Blue light cards, not sure if they do now. As I said in my above post, JD are accepting a blue light discount on the anthem jacket with 20% off. Adidas’s marketing must be spot on, Liverpool recorded a 700% increase in shirt sales on their first day with Adidas compared to their previous record kit launch day, although it did have both their home and away kit launch on the same day.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

It won’t happen, but once Simeone is done with Atletico, and Howe is done here, I’d love him here. -
Not a chance he wants Liverpool if PSG, Real Madrid, or Barcelona come in for him though. Liverpool is his best transfer option in this window, if he keeps going he’ll get better offers elsewhere. Heck I’d be calling those clubs up and asking if they want him now, even if we take installed payments, rather than sell to Liverpool.

I was just saying today about Wrexham as well, and don’t give me the whole ‘Disney money’ excuse, because there is no way Disney are paying them as much as they are spending.

The first Sela Cup had a weird League season format though where you wanted points for goals scored as well as a win. This one and last years have been Friday night friendlies, with a Saturday night Sela Cup. I think until late on they struggled to sell tickets. We ended up with 32k there on Friday night, but so think it may lead to a change in policy in future. I think we might end up with having a friendly against the bigger team on the Friday night, and then Sela Cup against a lesser team on the Saturday. This way people will go out of their way more to get to the Friday match, but the ability for people to go to the Saturday game, especially for families will keep the attendees up for that. -
Florentino Perez doesn’t own Real Madrid though. Real Madrid are fan owned and Perez is an elected official.

He speaks for the top 6, and big clubs in Europe. They have a lot of fans, especially tourist fans, so lap it up. It’s the same the media over. You can listen to Talksport all day and it will be about the top 6 clubs with not much said about the others. Sky Sports news the same. Read the newspaper and it’s those clubs on the back. Heck you can go on Sky Sports right now and the classic games being shown will likely be top 6 dominated. The top 6 are the only ones who get coverage, so newer fans become a fan of those clubs because of the coverage, which then increases the demand and equals in them getting more coverage. So long as agents and clubs are giving him money to spread stories, it isn’t stopping.

If Howe for 1 minute thought that the owners were not bothered anymore, then he would have walked.

Just ordered the anthem jacket on JD Sports, my sister gave me her blue light discount, 20% off. I was in the queue to buy it at the stadium after the match, and was in 2 minds, it was the last one in my size so ended up putting it back on the shelf after remembering that my sister gets a discount with JD. Saved myself £20. Worth using if anyone here has it.

As much as I think people are running away with a transfer window that hasn’t went our way, I do think we need to hear more about the new stadium and training ground this year. Man Utd training ground looks decent there, but if that’s a £50m refurb, then if the rumours of our training ground costing £300m is true, it will be amazing. I think one of the issues we have is that Man Utd had decent facilities at their academy where the first team were able to drop in at whilst they closed Carrington. We don’t have such luxury.

@Heron will there be anyone from Wor flags to give this flag too tomorrow? -
No, I wouldn’t even pay £10m for Jackson, absolutely fucking shit mate.

Opinion from Simon Chadwick, the same guy who kept saying PIF wouldn’t buy us and was trying to get them to buy his beloved Man Utd.

Can’t stand Hibs, maybe because I rather like Hearts, but still, I was hoping that they would crash out.

Referee is a Newcastle fan, he gives a soft penalty against us, and denies us a stonewall one. Fucking hell man. -

No it’s not, £150m is his value, anything below is a poor deal.

Agents and clubs. Agents think they can get a higher wage from another club if they say what we are offering. Other clubs think they can boost the price tag of a player or sniff out other clubs if they think we are going make a bid.
