  1. indeed. totally sorted out the right hand side problem - dont recall noticing obinna 2nd half, while 1st half he almost single handidly ripped us open. great job to react to that. the one goal difference 2nd half flattered west ham if anything ,truly horrible. Don't know, though we didn't have any real problems in the 2nd half from West Ham I don't think we did too well in attack from our right hand side, though Barton did a bit of attacking in the final 3rd on the right. Did anyone else notice Simpson made an interception halfway into West Ham's own half?
  2. A good win, done well in the 2nd half (I was at work during the 1st half), kept possession but didn't really create too many clear cut chances. 3 points against a team that will be down there at the end of the season, and away from home. Job done, can't ask for much more than that, other than creating some more chances. Toite seemed to be excellent in the 2nd half, went in for every ball, tried to get forward aswell, at one point I was wondering if he was trying to break the keepy up record though.
  3. So if it does happen, how long do they have left?
  4. Or give Milton Keynes or some area around London a place in the league just for the hell of it?
  5. Because fewer teams might go down. How does losing a team in the Championship mean fewer teams would be relegated from the Premier League? The Championship will still promote three and receive three from the Premier League. The Championship will need to have an extra team added to it and it would come from the lower league. It will have no effect on Premier League teams, as far as I can see. 2 go down from the premier, one extra promoted from each league starting with a conference team. How the fuck would that work? The Championship goes a team short, so we don't send a 3rd one down which will make it 2 teams short, then another team from League one will come up which will still put the Championship in the spot of being a team short still.
  6. Fucking hell, Blackburn are so poor. Hit it long up in the general area towards goal and hope at some point it will go in is their tactics.

    Mcboro

Does this mean Niel Lennon will be Boro manager in a few months after Mowbray?
  8. We have to win this. West Ham sooner or later are going to start gaining points, and we have to gain ground the likes of them and otehr who will be around the relegation places at the end of the season. This game is now going to be tougher and more important than it was a few weeks ago.
  9. It's Liverpool, who gives a shit?. I was hoping RBS would have pulled the plug on the club and got all of their workers to go over and take a piss on Anfield. It was never going to happen, but honestly, who gives a shit if Liverpool were no more?
  10. Why should they? it's their company.
  11. Can't see too much of what they have done wrong to be hopnest. Many club owners borrow money against the business after they have just bought them, the same in a lot of companies that get taken over. The Liverpool fans are only making a big deal out of it because they have slipped out of the top 4. Who ever takes them over I hope they finish the job off, don't invest in new players or a new stadium and just settle for being "Liverpool, the most successful club in England for now". Something isn't right with this board and the American take over though, This other guy from the far east has offerd more money and has said that he has money for the team on top of that, I don't remember anything liek that coming from the Americans, it's obviouse the board are getting a backhander on this deal with the Americans.
  12. If England win the 2018 bid then you can bank on the government of the the FA coughing up for it, don't worry about that. Will Liverpool fans give NESV that long? We find out in December who wins the bid, the new anfield is one of the stadiums hoping to host it. If we are chosen and Anfield is chosen as a venue then expect them to break ground on the site within 6 months of the decision. Hope not, still a bit annoyed West Ham get a new stadium for 'free'. It maybe Spurs' yet, also remember Man City didn't pay (atleast all the money) for their stadium aswell that was used for the Manchester Commonwealth games.
  13. Gold and Sullivan, when at Birmingham were very supportive of Bruce when he took them down in 05/06. I don't think Grant is in much danger at all to be honest. Bruce was the guy that got them up though. Grant wasn't and West Ham have been up for a little while now.

  16. This, only Liverpool and other "big" clubs would have this ruling. Any other club or comapny in the world would never be told to sell up a company they own. Calling in debt, winding up, or placing it in administration maybe but never get told to sell up.
  17. I agree with this 100% I have to throw in the Mackems, Spurs, WBA (fucking stay down), and Boro (because of their fans thinking our games with them are derbies and being general cunts).
  18. I like to see Arsenal play at their best (not against us though), on their day they are the best team in the Premiership, it just doesn't come round that often. I have to admit Wenger can get a bit irratating with his whinging and soem of their fans have started to act like him. Man Utd because I like Ferguson as a manager, like Wenger he needs to stop whinging I love how he gets under every managers skin though, he done it to Keegan, he's done it with Wenger, he's done it with Benitez, he even done it to Mourinho. The less said about their fans the better though. I'd say Rangers but watching them play is like watching paint dry, I also keep an eye out for FC Toronto's results.
  19. I've just relised, I'm going to miss the match tomorrow night.

    MLS 2010

Toronto haven't done too badly this season. They are usually near the bottom but as it stands they are 4th, no real chance of making the play off's though.

  22. For about £300 plus £120pa you can buy the system that pubs use. Are they going to say that this equiptment is illegal when it can be purchased legally in the rest of the EU? Could plod knock on your front door and arrest you? Thats my point, if she wins then it doesn't stop at just pubs taking advantage of this.
  23. She won't win, the simple reason, because if she does it goes beyond just pubs paying over the odds, and beyond just football. It would mean that anyone in Europe could get a subscription from anyone else in Europe, for football and other means. That would mean that I could possibly watch other TV programmes on my TV before it is on UK TV, and also that I could watch 3pm KO games aswell. It would be great if that could happen, but it would need the FA to sort something out in ticket prices so people still go to games, and a reduction in ticket prices would mean a reduction in wages, which means less players coming to our leagues, which could result in less quality football.
  24. Shouldn't the case also apply to the managers who tell them to go out and hurt opposition players? It's one thing them banning Henry or even De Jong, but can you ever see them banning Mancini? How would you prove Mancini said that to De Jong? It'd be his word against the accusers and would just lead to a long and pointless back and forth. Exactly, thats the first problem.
