In theory yes, however today showed that referee's are not even prepared to book players for diving, Drogba and Cole come to mind. I could imagine the referee's actually giving a lot more freekicks and penalties in order not to send someone off for diving.

The fact that those of us who live in Tyne and Wear should be no more than a few miles of 2 venues if we win the bid is a great factor. Not only that but I'd rather Newcastle and Sunderland (well Newcastle twice over) gains money through tourists coming here rather than Madrid or Barcelona. I was never a fan of it because I knew they couldn't ever gain control of the club, and I knew that they knew it aswell. Didn't the injury happen on the first of October? Making it almost two months down. It feels longer than a month, the derby was nearly 3 weeks ago.

In my opinion we need about 5 wins and about 3 or 4 draws, thats very possible, but tough looking at the rest of the fixtures we have left. Unfortunatly most of our games against the lesser oppostition are now away games which kind of makes me think we won't pick up maximum points from those games, however I know we will get some points at places where we would expect to get points from. We really need to have atleast 20 points, or even better 25 points before Xmas/New Year comes around.
