My managers a mackem, anyway I made an agreement with him that I won't brag if we won and he won't brag if they won. I did tease him on Wednesday though a little, saying that we beat Villa 6-0 and they beat them 1-0 meaning that we would beat them 5-0, I was almost right. Anyway I wasn't in today as it's my day off, and not only that I have my 3 month probation meeting this week when I find out if they are going to give me confirmation of contract or not. A big grin is the best I can do in those conditions I think.

Potentially we can finish in the top 10, however that is our potential. At this point I would still be happy with staying up, I would like to see us have atleast 20-25 points by the time xmas and the new year comes around which should put us in a decent position and maybe then can we build up something.

I was in the Gallowgate just behind the goal for the game when Emre's scored that freekick. It went in slow motion style, he took I thought it was going so started to go up to cheer then it looked like it woul just go wide so started to go back down and then it went in. I was also there for the game when Owen scored the pen within in about 5 minutes, scored just before half time aswell if I remember correctly. I went passed the club shop yesterday and in the window I saw Puma's poster of our new shirt. It had a picture of our shirt then the line "The things we do for football". I thought to myself, "you cheecky little bastards".

Kind of ironic how most of that is filmed in Gateshead or facing Gateshead and when he mentions things in Newcastle most of them are in Gateshead or have Gateshead's name, I.E. Millenium bridge. The lack of footage of Newcastle is shocking, apart from a little bit of SJP, a little of them going across the Tyne bridge, and very little of the Bigg market/The Gate. The total lack of the inclusion of Grey street is shamefull. Rant over.

I've just got tickets to this game today, so hopefully we will manage to win somehow, for that though we would have to put out our first team and for Arsenal to put out their 8th. Imagine how happy we would be if we our next 2 games compared to how we were after Wigan? I think this week is going to be a great week or a terrible week, no grey areas. Lets hope for a great week.
