  1. They have let it go all night. They have been winning a throw 5 yards in their own half, and taken it 10 yards in ours.
  2. We haven’t won the 2nd ball all night, fucking miles away from him.
  3. Every attack of ours seems to result in Kraft receiving the ball.
  4. So the clubs in Europe minus Chelsea had to be done in a pre-draw to determine if they were to play home or away in the next round. So those clubs will be the first picked from a separate bowl later. However the home and away balls were coloured differently, Red for home team, White for an away team. The bowl was transparent. There was no real close up shots of the hands in the bowl, but Dawson was clearing holding onto a ball (red). It wasn’t until Chapman starting laughing at how many home draws for those clubs were drawn did they decide to give 2 away ties for them. On top of this the balls had to be put back into the bowl after being drawn out, so there was always 3 home balls, and 3 away. If you were to do a draw more fairly you would make it so the balls were taken out, thus reducing the chance of there being an unbalance home or away set of ties for said clubs. Additionally, you could just go into it with hands held high and say ‘3 will play at home, 3 away’, negating the need for a pre-draw in anyway.
  5. That’s disgusting, so many glaring errors with that Home/Away draw which has given them an advantage even more so.
  6. Where you been? You haven’t been to work, you weren’t even playing, I was watching on TV.
  7. Why? Sorry like, but he ultimately came here and stayed here because he lacks a consistent end product. If any player played the way he does, and has a consistent end product, then they don’t stay at a team like Fulham, any top 6 club, or top club from abroad would sign them. Just because he is not good enough for where we want to be, it doesn’t mean he isn't good enough for a team like Fulham who are wanting to be where we used to be before our takeover.
  8. I don’t, I’m happy taking their money. London has received money from every fucking corner of the globe, Abu Dhabi have investment in Manchester. If the North East relies on Saudi money, then so be it. I’m not just talking about NUFC. My favourite hobby/interest is a beneficiary, but they are already investing elsewhere into our economy. The North East is too far behind now to start questioning where money is coming from. It needs investment, people need jobs.
  9. To be fair, DCL probably has as well.
  10. That’s good. Maybe it means away fans will be locked out. The very last thing the women’s game needs is kids wanting to act big causing bother and forever putting off families attending.

    St James' Park

In all fairness, it’s not a bad shout. If we are going with an expansion (I doubt, so think it will be a rebuild at minimum), then we can’t do anything until after 2028 unless we give up our host rights for the Euros.

    Marc Guehi

Howe’s press conference: ’I said Guehi, You’re gonna be the one that saves me, And after all, We bought sod all.’
  13. Yeah. Ok the CL draw comment he shouldn’t have said, but if he wasn’t being put in the public meeting fans, then people would just bash him for not having a relationship with the fans. Ironically, the people bashing him for meeting fans, would be the first ones to go up to him, say hi, and shake his hand.
  14. Imm going to guess the new ownership at North Shields has resulted in a lot of fans heading back to the other side of Meadowell.
  15. The trouble is, the work that he does will never have instant or even short term results. The work he does will be felt years down the line. People on Twitter having a go at him don’t have a clue.

    In memoriam

Rest in peace Sven. When nearly every manager around eventually becomes hated, you just seems to gain affection.
  17. Should be all out for Kubo.
  18. It doesn’t make a difference what Diaz did. Schar putting his head as a reaction is all that matters for us.
  19. Like it or not Schar reacted and moved his head towards Diaz’s as well. By the letter of the law it was a red card. I’m not surprised that it hasn’t been overturned.
  20. There was game last season when Barnes came on for us and Gordon went to the right, the West Ham game last season. It changed us so much because they could no longer double up on Gordon, and had a threat on either wing. It took us from losing 3-1, to winning 4-3. A RW would be so transformational for us.
  21. See the same thing happen by the Sky 6 game in game out, Liverpool actually being the worst offender. It usually goes unpunished. It’s not a red card, and I thought the Schar red last week was the correct call.
  22. Think if he argues against Mitchell he’ll be gone. Staveley and Ghodoussi were the ones backing him previously. He doesn’t have anyone in the boardroom to back him up now. Performances this season, and the refusal to play options when he had them last season will be mounting against him now. As others have said, he needs to be more ruthless, and playing players who are not good enough or ready in games to try and encourage them to invest in that area of the squad over others won’t work.
