I think the trouble with Ashley selling was that he would have initially wanted to sell with SD’s fingers still in the NUFC pie. Staveley et al came along and told him to get his finger out of the pie, and we’ll pay so much. If we are getting a 70k seater stadium or more, we should be getting more season ticket holders. We currently have an estimated 35k season ticket holders, that number should be pushed to 45k-50k in my opinion. We’ve already been over how Newcastle is a bit far out to expect there to be enough tourist demand like there is for the London and Manchester clubs. I’d also add, that season ticket holders should probably pay the same rate equal to single match tickets.
