I don’t think we will have enough to get up there, even getting 7th would be a great season for us. It is going to be weird though. It looks like Fulham are going to be safe, they are 1/4th of the way there already. Forest just aren’t jelling yet, and have already lost 2 games against the other promoted sides. Southampton, and Leicester look like they will have poo seasons.

I guess the way around it would be for the clubs owners to build the stadium out of their own pocket, and to then lease or sell it to the club over a period of time.

I doubt any rearranged games will be played this side of the World Cup. I guess if needs be then they could extend the season for a week or so. There is ultimatly going to be games cancelled during the winter as well.

I’m a republican and I’ll probably take the bank holiday. The reason being if my company observes it then there won’t be anyone at work to give me work for the day. I have a key and I could turn up, but there would literally be no one there and I’d be paid for my time regardless. In fact as I have been told that there would be no work that day, I think I may get into trouble by actually going into work. Me opening up and going to work may well be classed as a security risk. How does that work in your simplistic take it or leave it and I’ll judge you for your actions’ view? As for the ‘It’s respecting your country’ statement. They said the exact same thing during WW1 when soldiers who were suffering from PTSD were lined up and shot. Maybe that’s what you want, a strict follow our line or get shot order. Sounds an awful lot like fascism people with your opinions generally have a very strong and visible view against.

They are wanting to switch the London games to the reverse fixture. Surely if they all played on a Saturday then picking for Monday wouldn’t be a problem? There is only 3 London Premier League home games that weekend with 1 of those being an all London game. So there shouldn’t be that much of a problem in terms of the Premier League.

Liverpool is a city which for decades has suffered a lack of investment and disregard from the powers that be, much like Newcastle or indeed the whole North East, as well as other areas. The difference between Newcastle and them is that they had 1 event where their own people were killed and they themselves were blamed. The police who essentially did it blamed them. The media who keep the elite at the top, including the royal family peddled the lies. The courts for a long time blamed them. I know that we had the miners strikes etc, but we never had 1 significant event like they did with Hillsborough. Of course they turned, of course they don’t respect a monarch who has put in place government after government who has fucked them over time and time again. If only we and everywhere else held the same view, without the need for an event like Hillsborough.

Not like his biggest 2 clubs haven’t been able to buy any player they want from any club they want for generations.

It’s well known that I’m a staunch Republican (regards to monarch, not American politics). I’d have no trouble with the FA Cup picture as a flag.

Football was always going to be cancelled. Racing is on Sunday, Rugby, and cricket is also on. You car argue that they should be off as well or football should also be on, but football was always going to be cancelled. The gammon were just waiting for football to be played so they can ram their fake sadness/respect at everyone.

The thing is if the Premier League go ahead and the EFL doesn’t, the Premier League look like bad guys. The EFL have already started their way on their path by postponing tonight’s games. Team who are due to play tonight would be upset if tomorrows games are allowed to go ahead. At that point you then have to question if tonight’s games should be played over the weekend. In reality the first domino has already fell.

Yeah but that’s how this country rolls.
