Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

I got a ticket for each, would have been nice if they had an option to have the same seat for the two games. With you being Ona time limit it doesn’t give you much chance to take note of where you were sitting when you select the 2nd game. -

It is a bit much, but I’m guessing they are thinking of what is happening with season ticket and membership sales flying out. Also, the calibre of opposition is arguably better than anyone Ashley had coming here, and therefor they may have requested a higher fee and/or a greater percentage of ticket sales. I’ll be going purely because I’ll unlikely be able to get tickets elsewhere in the season, and other will likely do the same. There lies the problem I guess. -

Where is this from? -
Yeah, I don’t hate him, but him pestering players etc and getting his mate to lie on the road to prevent the players from leaving is annoying. Also the attitude he has when he was kicked out of a youth teams match for recording when he was told to stop and his claims about how he makes them relevant is childish. He really needs to stop his childish antics, he looks young for his age and can act it as well, which makes him look more like a child than anything else. If he didn’t do that sort of stuff then maybe people at the club would take him a little bit more seriously and give him some little bits of interaction that would help make him take off. I also fear for him professionally as well. He has given up uni to do this, and by the looks of it is living off either the student loan and/or his parents. At the moment it isn’t sustainable, and it likely never will be. He needs to recognise that it’s a side hobby that he hopes may take off one day, but needs something to build towards with more foundation right now.

Yeah, a quick look on things like the Chronicle’s comments pages and it’s all people complaining about student accommodation, even when it’s offices. Thing is these were the people who were complaining that they were taking up housing stock in Jesmond and Heaton as you mention. So where do they want the students to go? Students actually bring in a lot of money to the city centre and the areas where they live. Those restaurants, the comedy club, that gin bar people like, it’s all there because students. Anything remotely centred around evening or night time events is student led, because they are the demographic living in the city centre and making it alive after the workers go home at 5pm. Newcastle city centre actually has a very low city centre population. As a result Newcastle’s councils area until recently had a lower population than Sunderland. I do think we do need more green areas in Newcastle. As much as we have the town moor, it’s very a city centre border area. There is very little pocket parks so to speak. I would love for the buildings on the Bigg Market where the job centre etc is to be knocked down and turned into a small park. It would open up the area so much, right now you have very narrow paths and it can feel quite closed in. It could also help to attract better retailers than night clubs.

It’s already been said that they will play different teams in both games. -
Quite possibly an attempt to get the club calling. ’Hi, over here, this thing that is detrimental to your club is still going ahead, we promise, but hopefully this gets you interested in the site and we can sell it to you for a quick profit’.
-
Aye but those lot don’t protest or anything. They don’t bother going at all, and just vent on RTG.
-
Aye, glad they have been saved and glad it’s not Ashley clawing his way in. Although I wouldn’t wish Ashley on any club, I sort of hope he does get another club, just so that when he drags them down from their regular position, people will finally realise. When Ashley is linked with clubs, fans are quick to have a go at us and say that we were the problem, yet they kindly ignore the fact that he only had a 10% stake in Rangers, and they hate him just as much.

Sterling would have been perfect for us.

They did but they sold the land off before they formally went bust. Of course other developers will be sitting back to reassess things as the economy crumbles and we aren’t sure if people are going to willingly go back to offices full time or not before we start building new ones. I dare say the company who owns the land may be tempted by a quick profit.

Playing FM and this little cunt rejected me, would not even talk wages. -
Fuck me, so a digital one is £10 less, and I presume just excludes the free gift. Ffs.

I think the points systems has flaws. You can have someone who has 100+ points, yet hasn’t bought an away ticket for years. Yet you can have someone with much less and are going or trying to go to games more recently. On top of this you need to give others a chance to go. Maybe saying 50% of away tickets should go to those with the highest points, 40% to more recent purchasers, and then 10% to ballet between remaining season ticket holders and members. If anything is left over, then general sale.
-
Season ticket holders go to games and get priority on cup games and away games. If they are buying extra tickets then they are buying tickets for none season ticket holders, not themselves. Aye give them priority on non-season ticket matches, but don’t start giving them an extra ticket before you let others have a chance.
-
Nah, doesn’t seem like it.
-
Yeah, I got mine, absolute madness wiring and trying to fit it in work, only just managed. Gettimg actual tickets is going to be insane.
-
Well they are letting over 16,000 queue for one.
-
Over an hour and a half’s wait to buy a membership, this is stupid.
-
Probably down to how the City of Newcastle is cut short North of the Tyne by North Tyneside and Northumberland.
-
Only available with a season ticket aren’t they? When I last had one, you had to apply directly to Nexus for one, and had to give your season ticket number to them.
-
Going to get a membership so that I have a chance of taking some games in and also to go to the friendlies, looks like my mates are backing out of the freindlies though, so if anyone is going and don’t mind sitting next to Stifler, then I’d appreciate not sitting on my own.

He’s supposed to be wanting to stay in London and has already rejected Man Utd. He’s probably waiting to see if Spurs end up offering him a contract, if not, then he’ll move to Brentford.
