One of his accounts, NUFCNEWS24 I think, follow a lot of Tories and racists. Despite not following the account, a few people I follow do, and as a result I was getting tweets that apparently I might like, because this account was following that Darren Grimes lad, as well as some poor hating full on BREXIT wanker MP.

‘It’s all them Magamarras coming over here and shitting in our streets to give us a bad name.’
-
Pissing off the administrators is a sure way of getting them to pick him as their next preferred bidder.

That goes without saying, like I said, sell them it, but on conditions they actually turn it into a football stadium, and not just keep it the way it is and end up kicking the athletics out for no reason.
-
I think it will. It’s a good deal and gives the MLS the chance to compete a bit more with European clubs.

The answer has always been that West Ham should be sold the stadium in the condition that they basically demolish it and turn it into a football stadium. Why does London need a World Class athletics track but elsewhere in the U.K. doesn’t? Why don’t they develop the Linford Christie stadium, now that it’s apparent QPR won’t be allowed to build in the site. They are already building a new venue in Birmingham, and should be renovating the International stadium in Gateshead.

If we get Pope via a relegation clause we are not supposed to know about, then Burnley must fucking hate us, if they don’t already. Taking Wood off them, who despite being poor for us, would have done a job for them, unsettling Tarkowski, and beating them on the final day of the season to relegate them.

Apple has sort of bought the rights to the MLS from next season. You will only be able to watch MLS games via an Apple TV, although the majority of matches will require an MLS subscription, some games will be shown on Apple TV free for Apple TV+ subscribers, and a small amount free for anyone to watch. It’s rumoured to be both for USA/Canadian rights, and the international market. Also, more interestingly, it will do away with local blackouts.

It will be ‘Former Newcastle United star’ my good sir.

Sheffield Wednesday are bigger than them. Derby are arguably bigger than them, and that’s 2 teams from the division below where they have just came from. You could also say the same about Fulham.
-
I’m not sure it will work. The administrators are apparently playing hard ball over their fee’s, which is why it’s taking so long to come to agreements with interested parties, and possibly why Ashley was not made a preferred bidder and talks with him were stopped pretty early on, because no doubt he’ll be wanting to negotiate on their fees. Apparently there is sense that the administrators are preferred to let the club go under, rather than not getting what they want.
-
They have taken notice of the popularity of the sport, and also how the popularity of the sport in growing in North America. They also know that MLS teams are light years behind the revenue streams of European clubs.
-
As if the Premier League or FA are going to do that. They will be complicit in it, and to be honest I’d be surprised if they FA aren’t doing or looking to do it off the national team.
-
Fuck me, I wonder if it’s the same consortium he made up to get people off Ashley’s back with a pretend takeover of us.

Nah, the club shop at SJP has some stuff from last season on sale, nothing on the website. The last time I went there were no anthem jackets left.

York United, a 4 year old Canadian club, who had a rebrand from York 9 to York United a year ago with a new colour scheme, now have 3 retro kits from Football Town (1 more than us), all of them making reference to their new branding and colour scheme. ? It’s good news for the Canadian clubs and the CPL, but funny non the less.

I guess they can’t. The economy will run out when the world relies less on oil and/or it dries up. They need an economy if they are to still have the money coming in. They are wanting to push themselves into places, hence why they are buying us, doing the LIV tour etc. The thing is the likes of PIF and other Gulf investment funds could easily just be silent investors and bring the money in, but no gulf nation is happy with that. They want a role to play in this world. This is why they are buying us etc, they need to push themselves into the frame. The only thing is that eventually to be accepted long term at the table, they will have to become more liberal, and more palatable to western ideologies. They can Sports wash all they want, it’s not going to work unless they become less conservative in their own way.

It’s a bit nauseating SSN and other media outlets getting wet at Liverpool breaking their transfer record for Nunez. Had we bought him we would be nothing but slated.
-
I’ve got to admit, if I wasn’t an NUFC fan and I had the chance to go AC Milan or us, I’d go to AC Milan. Mostly because living in Milan etc would be much more appealing. With the money he’d be on, you could live out by Lake Como, and go into one of the best cities in the world when you want to socialise/shop. A nice Villa with a pool etc is a better prospect than living in Tynemouth (as much as I love Tynemouth) and hoping the open air pool reopens soon. Even though we have new owners, and a lot of promise, it’s something different to actually unleashing that promise (see Everton, QPR etc). Milan seem to be on the up, they have won Serie A, they have a history of winning the Champions League, and with Juventus floundering in recent years, they have an opportunity to become a dominant force in Italy again. They and Inter are also on the verge of building a new stadium as well, and that would be exciting to be a part of.

Jon Dahl Tomasson is set to be announced as Blackburn Rovers manager.
-
Trouble is he’s not making money in the Championship or League One, and he’s not going to invest well enough to get them to the Premier League.
-
The guy wanting to buy Derby has been given a deadline of 5pm today. The administrators are talking to other interested parties, so looks like Ashley maybe coming back again.
-
If it’s the Saturday match then it will likely be 3pm. If it’s the Friday one, then either 7:45pm or 8:00pm.
