Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

With the way things are they could have played it at SJP, got 20 thousand in, and given them a decent percentage of the earnings. -

Midday KO. -
I might get that 3rd kit. The home kit would be great without the sponsor, it doesn’t look as bad on the 3rd kit.

Boris will do anything to deflect the attention off him at the moment.

Pitch. There is only a small gap where they can rip the pitch up before replanting they seeds etc. Even if they lay down flooring like they usually do for concerts, it can damage the pitch quite a bit.

I think I only saw the replica. The plastic iron on’s don’t have a shine on them, well not much than what they will naturally have, but they do have that cold plastic feeling.

Me and my GF were in the club shop just before and we both agreed that the sponsor logo is fucking gash, tacky and ruins the shirt. The quality seems alright to be honest, club logo and Castore logo on the front are embroided, everything else is iron on, even the NUFC on the back. I think that’s cheap and nasty, however every club and manufacturer are doing that these days. I go though look as Castore’s non NUFC range and think the stuff feels quality. Light weight materials, but soft etc.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Should go on to David really. No real strong links to any Champions League clubs have persisted with him, and he would be a great signing. -
About time, but they will just replace him with just as incompetent/corrupt former has been. They will never learn, in fact yesterday they announced that some former refs who everyone hated are to become new referee coaches. What the fuck is the point? ’The standard of refereeing is poor, so we’ll get those who are the poor referees and have been accused of being corrupt by every fan base and get them to train the new people. Might as well bring Blatter in to tell them how you pick up a brown envelope.

Lingard will go to West Ham in my opinion.
-
He’s obviously had talks with the new owner and are not on the same wavelength, or someone has fed back to him that the new owner is not a fan of his. In all honesty, letting him go will be a bad start for the new owner, as much as questions are still being asked about Rooney as a manager, he’s done enough to show that he should be given a chance to get them back into the Championship.
-
And on top of that, Ekitike, David, a LB, and a RW.

As much as Murray was too far in the rivalry with us, he was actually a good owner for them. He took them from being shit club in the 2nd division to an established Premier League team with a brand new stadium and 1st in class academy. The thing is though, he was a victim of his success. As soon as they went down they turned on him, everything he did for them was forgotten about. He was almost pressured by the fans to sell to Quinn’s consortium who promised to run the club for the fans, but they were very quick to sell out to Ellis Short when they realised the fans couldn’t be fucked with turning up. Had Murray not arrived, Sunderland would be a League One/League Two club mainstay, and still be playing at Roker Park. Their name would be as big as Portsmouth, except Portsmouth would have had a better more recent history.
-
Steve Bruce manager there?
-
Nah, they had the Armani branding on them but were still made by their existing manufacturer.
-
Sunderland vs Coventry the 1st game of the season. ?
-
So is the stadium, and the cathedral.
-
Doesn’t Erickson want to stay in London? I can see him staying at Brentford if Spurs continue to knock him back, although I would not be surprised if the Dildo brothers Donny try to take him to West Ham.
-
Remember when Ashley and Charnley did refit of the stadium and it was basically a couple of portraits hung up that you could buy in the club shop, with a note saying you could do just that.
-
Ashley trying to cash in on sales early is an Ashley move. To be fair though, you can buy the shirt already from the store and Castore, it’s just that they aren’t promising deliveries yet. I also feel like there maybe still something going on in terms of the Fun88 sponsorship. Right now Ashley is only selling the kids versions, which are sponsor-less, so I’m assuming he doesn’t have access to the adults version, which does have a sponsor. So maybe the club and Castore are holding out for as long as possible to see if they can get the final year of that contract cancelled?
-
Yeah I got them last week. I had been going in again and again for the short to be reduced and every other shirt was edited except that one, until a couple of weeks ago, got it at £25 instead of the £65. My GF was about to buy me it at full price because we kept looking to see if it had been reduced and she thought it wasn’t going to be.

Lineker gets a bad time from gammons who don’t like he’s on high wages and is left leaning, and to a similar extent hate the BBC because unlike Sky, they will still actually cover the left side of the political spectrum, or in reality won’t call the BAME and LBGTQ community Neanderthal like names like they wish. In reality they are fine with money being doubled on presenters who are willing to do that. At this point I actually think that anyone who gives him undue criticism is just one of the gammons in the Queue to lick the arses of Farage and Piers Morgan.

One of his accounts, NUFCNEWS24 I think, follow a lot of Tories and racists. Despite not following the account, a few people I follow do, and as a result I was getting tweets that apparently I might like, because this account was following that Darren Grimes lad, as well as some poor hating full on BREXIT wanker MP.
