They have got to go to the FAB meeting first. No one who attends the FAB meeting are saying how much they know of the plans or not, or if they have seen images etc. I actually don’t think that well here anything official from the club this side of the cup final. As it happens, the weekend after the cup final is an international break, so it might be a good idea to release the information then. That way people are able to focus on it, and the discussion and the media attention won’t be getting in the way of fixtures.

Not sure where to put this. I mentioned it in the match thread, but think it’s worth discussing further. By letter of the law our penalty was a penalty, but I think it’s harsh, and would be fuming if it went against us. In my opinion I think anything from the elbow and up shouldn’t be handball. I just don’t think you have enough control over that part of your body. It’s almost impossible to move it in or out of the way of the ball. Anything on your forearm down with a deliberate attempt to play the ball with your hands, or to have those parts of your body in an unnatural position should result in a handball decision.

It would have to go down as an own goal as without the touch it wouldn’t be on target and it would just be a goal kick to the defending team.

His weaknesses are showing through more and more. He’s always been one of those players where you never know which players is turning up until he gets his first touch. He’s stared doing this thing where he gets past his man, works hard to do so, then gives up as soon as he’s got past his man, often when he’s still in possession of the ball.

I think today highlights that both our main keepers have weaknesses that we really need to improve upon. Pope is the better shot stopper, aside from their 1st goal today. Dubravka is better at coming out for the ball, and with his feet. Ultimately, if we want to step up to the next level, it’s another position where we need to improve.

They’ll not want to be getting called out for why they can’t at least try and do something themselves. £2bn would 150% more than what the Metro system cost to open up in the 70’s-80’s, even accounting for inflation. I’d be surprised if our region has had a single project that has even came close to that price spent on it.
