Given was probably at one time the best keeper in the Premier League at shot stopping, maybe Seaman asked he was the best. I’d say the best in the world but you had Kahn, Buffon, and Casillas all playing at the same time. Given could be subjected to a 1 on 1 10 times a match and win it 9 times out of 10. His biggest flaw was his in-ability to come off his line to gather the ball from corners and free-kicks. As a shot stopper though, there were few better than him.

He did exactly what he was given at Celtic and Villa. At Celtic he had the better budget so dominated. At Villa he had the 6th best budget and go them to 6th, but spent most of the money on players who failed at the other 5 clubs instead or searching for some potential. Their fans behave like animals whenever we play them. The last time I think they were throwing stones and rocks down onto the A19 and A66 as our supporters arrived. One went through a window and hit a little kid. It’s the reason why I’m happy that we haven’t came across them since our first Championship season.

No good can come from it. Even if you can’t get a signal, you’ll still get fans recording and taking pictures. If you have a signal you at least have the ability to check other scores outside of what the stadium will show you and at your own time. You also have the ability to coordinate plans with other mayday fan and be able to get in contact with from other if there is an emergency.

The good thing for Hearts is that they will have played all 3 scheduled games against Celtic by the end of January. I know they’ll have another to add on later in the season, but it at best gives them room to breath against mostly lesser opposition for the rest of the season, or time to make up any shortfall. They also would have played all 3 of the original scheduled fixtures against Rangers by midway through February. So pretty early on this season we’ll know what they need to do and if they have a chance.
