Not saying that this is the point you're making, but a new stadium wouldn't just be about the capacity - it's the entire experience from seeing the building as you're walking towards it to the moment you step outside after full-time. There is so much we'd have to settle for if we stay put and I don't think the conversation around a new stadium would come around again for a long time, whilst SJP continues to creak year after year.

I just assumed an extra 8k on the Gallowgate would mean a lot more corporate seats elsewhere. It would be funny if we went with the Gallowgate extension and those who didn't want a new ground were still missing out on the ballot every week.

Nobody I know wants that to completely take over the current matchday experience. It would just be nice to have it as an option instead of rushing straight for the metro and queuing for 20 mins or if we've only got 45 mins before the game but we know it takes about that to get served in some bars. This sort of thing wouldn't take much away from those who want to drink in other bars imo. Take the Bridge Hotel for example. The amount of times I've walked in there, stood for 15 minutes waiting to be served and then walked out because I'm still nowhere near... It's insane. Bars like them only have themselves to blame, extra staff could literally pay for themselves.

Disasi...his defensive stats are absolutely woeful but he ranks quite highly when it comes to ball playing and being progressive. I'd absolutely hate to have him at Newcastle. I want our defenders to at least be able to do the basics in defence.

I'm not sure he'll be there much longer, he's far too combustible to stay anywhere for too long. Sooner or later (if they haven't already) the Arsenal fans will start to get sick of his shit if he continues to go without winning anything, and I'm not sure if a league cup win would satisfy them. They're already out the FA Cup this year, so that's another season without a big trophy because let's be honest, they're not winning the Champions League. Same again next year and there'll be questions.
