Did you see how uninterested he looked for the entire game? He had his head resting on his arms for the majority of the time, doesn't give me the impression that he gives two shits about the club anymore! Sooner he's out the better.

Ipswich have been very shakey at the back this season so it may well be worth trying Harewood from the start if he's fit enough, try and shake them up a bit. I'd like to see Harewood and Carroll get a decent stint together, I reckon they'd link up well. We also REALLY need some wingers now, these are the games where we should be pumping crosses in against leaky defences and letting Carroll get his head on it.

Henri Camara on trial at Sheff Utd apparently, why aren't we looking at someone like him?!
-
According to SSN, Campbell is 3/1 to sign for us now, or 5/1 to sign for Spurs
-
Aren't the FA looking into the consortium that took over Notts County? Maybe something dodgy went on and Campbell is getting out of there before shit hits the fan?
-
I've been genuinely disappointed with him ever since we signed him, his attitude has been atrocious and his performances below par. He had a few reasonably good games in the premiership, but never enough to make me think he was a worthwhile signing. I'd like to see him dropped to be honest, it may give him the kick up the arse he needs to improve his performances!

I'm so furious just watching that, typical united...

Newcastle United V Plymouth Argyle Pre-Match Thread - 19/09/09- 3pm KO
Chrisjraby replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
We're crying out for a striker to play off Ranger and Carroll, who's hold up play has been very good, and we have Lovenkrands, we need to use him! -
He'll do until January

According to Sky Sports News this is our "harsh introduction to the championship". What about the previous 6 unbeaten games...? -

Risdale was sat just behind him so I assume that's the case.

Good first 10 minutes, now we've let them get into the game and the crowd are getting behind them a bit. Ranger is looking good with his hold up play, but we really need some width on the left! -
West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

Having also read that thread in the hall of fame, I can now conclude that Lee Stewart is a hero. It's kept me laughing for quite some time. -

Just tried to modify my previous post and removed it, whoops. It seems a bit O.T.T though don't you think? I've no idea who the guy even is mind. The topic of the thread seems long forgotten, so, is Carroll supposed to be fit for sunday's game now? -

Why are we not going for Henri Camara for christ's sake?! Better to get him on a season long contract than some mug on a 3 month deal. Although, looks like Pompey may get him. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1211679/Portsmouth-ready-land-Henri-Camara-free-boost-depleted-attack.html

We could have a 4-5-1 planned as we're away, and maybe he's bringing Butt in to add another defensive element, e.g: Butt Smith Guthrie Barton Nolan I hope not though, Butt doesn't deserve a place in the team and if anyone is going to be brought in, hopefully it'll be McLoven!
