Christ, that would be possibly the first time I'd actually crack a smile at Spurs nicking one of or signings. The thought of Harrys face, man alive. I can see the smug look on Levy's face if it did happen

  12. Still beats me how thick you have to be to destroy your career in such a way. most young lads at that age are really thick, I certainly was.
  13. With City at least it looks like an effort to get Abu Dhabi good publicity hence things like the regeneration project around eastlands etc. With Abramovich god knows, ego probably

If he goes to QPR he has. We are playing diabolically and it was bound to catch up to us sooner or later recruitment wise. Like I said yesterday had we been top half like expected he'd have signed and not even thought about QPR. Money talks, and if they werent offering mad cash he'd come here, but if they were offering mad cash and we were looking good then he'd be here im absolutely sure of it. I was about to say this like. If you think that the style of football played hasn't had an impact on things then people are naive in the extreme. Sure the money will have got him interested, but the style of football played is a draw for these frenchies (i think Cabaye mentioned it just after we signed him), it would only take 10 mins of Harry filling his lugs with correct information about how we play hoofball and how flowing the football he played as spurs was and that might have sealed it. So yeah when you come down to it, we have two teams battling one another for relegation one offers more money and potentially better football and living in London, the other is a hoofball side with a few poorly used french internationals somewhere in the North. Why on earth would Remy believe anything Redknapp has to say about style of play ect? He'd believe him no more than he would Cabaye or Barton. No idea what the motivation is to try to convince yourself or others that this isn't 95% about the money, but it really is. QPR offer nothing over us outside of London, that's it. We're much better known and more respected in France, much better stadium and facilities, in a better position in the league and have more players he'd know. QPR have a crazy contract offer, no need to pretend otherwise. Exactly, it's amazing the way people are prepared to build up our rivals in every way and put ourselves down. The fact that QPR are now considered rivals has probably got a lot to do with it. If we were in the top 10 don't you think it might have made a difference? If a club is perceived to be on the way up it is an attraction in it's own right. QPR are allowing him to leave for nowt if they're relegated. So I don't think being a bit higher in the league would make much difference. Not between two teams fighting relegation no. But that's kind of my point. Fair enough I see what you're saying. My point was just that us being higher in the league might not mean too much with QPR removing relegation as a negative. If QPR are relegated Remy can move somewhere else for nowt and get a nice big signing on fee and big wages again since he'll be a free transfer. plus if they go down and he gets that free he may be able to grab the attention of one of the bigger boys like Arsenal who may take a punt on if he's free
  15. That's some kind of way to remove debt isn't it? I'm not sure Man City have any debt. just the way these big owners get the money into the clubs they "loan" the club the however many hundreds of millions are needed then turn that "debt" into equity later

And you know this how ? We don't KNOW - they may be offering same terms, all heresay. SSN don't know whats going on in that department any more than we do. French news will be guessing themselves. when every single news source is reporting it and he goes from not even wanting to talk to Redknapp to joining them and given QPR's track record on this its not exactly a difficult conclusion to reach. Will we ever know exact figures? No but that doesn't mean we don't have a fair idea of the ball park figures

How often do you see a player choosing one club over another due to manager ? It happens. I will admit to not being a fan of Pardew, admitting I had been wrong last year (one of the few. Most tried to claim they knew all along !) and disappointed to see results this year possibly showing the orignal doubts may have been the right ones. As for twisting logic, don't we all ? then question, if QPR were offering identical terms to nufc would he be going there?

I'm sure we won't, unless it's an emergency signing like Kuqi. My thoughts precisely. This has shown Pardew's lack of standing up BADLY My confidence in him hit bottom a while back, now it's going tunnelling to go lower. how exactly is QPR throwing 70-80k (depending on who you believe) at Remy showing up Pardews lack of standing? So Remy's attracted by Pardew and is signing for us, not QPR ? Look again. As for "acting in the market" - words are cheap. Actions aren't what has pards got to do with QPR throwing money at Remy? Pardews involvement with transfer stuff is limited Llambias and Lee Charnley handle the majority of that
  21. Ask an Albion fan what they think of their board. If you think Ashley is tightfisted and doesn't see the need to invest, Albion's lot are way, way worse. Isn't this really about picking a club doing well and saying they must have good owners. What about the fact that until very recently, Albion were a yo-yo club? How good were their owners then? from a fan point of view it can't have been great but they did build themselves each time they went up and down and didn't go spending beyond their means like many a club has in a desperate attempt to avoid the drop or thinking that surviving once meant they're big time now and go overboard on spending only to be fucked over when they go down.

  23. Why ? Because there are a hell of a lot of shite owners out there. Plus I'd imagine if it got to the point at which Ashley felt forced out (I don't think he'd get what he wants for it otherwise), he'd actively sell us to the biggest cunts he could find. There aren't many good owners in the PL really. Man City maybe, because they have bought success. Everton for sticking with Moyes, but even they are skint. QPR fans might end up thanking the owners eventually, but they might also go bust. Even the Man Utd and Liverpool owners are disliked for various reasons. Swansea's board are good, gotten all their management appointments in last few years bang on the money and doing it all within a sensible budget. Norwich also seem to have their head screwed on right

    Loïc Remy

if that is true then the real question for QPR will be his motivation to keep them up, after all its in his best interests finance wise to see them go down get his freebie then sign for someone else get a nice signing on bonus etc
