    Best High?

The shear ecstasty when Tiote's goal went in was beyond belief. Nobdy in Level 7 was in the aisle of their seats. People were running up and down the stairs, running in and out of the concourse. Piling on top of each other. It was just an amazing experience to be in. The only thing that would beat that would be a last minute goal in the FA Cup final at Wembley to win the cup IMO

Always found it strange that 'Where's the passion lads?' equated to the angriest you could get on FM. Rarely do they play better after questioning their performance
  4. You'd have only walked out of that at 3-0 too I know I cannot understand people who were leaving early in the 5-1 derby game this season? Fair enough if you live down south or somewehere. But still
  5. I've always believed in that. One person can effect those around them and so on. The crowd would have been different and may have indeed caused a different reaction from the team. Not saying we owe it to those who left though Never left a match early in my life. I've left a millisecond after the whistle but never before. Turning up late...well that's a different matter First half no jacket on. Second half jacket on. We score 4. Coincidence??? I think not! PS. I was at the Bolton game (5-1) this season and i just couldn't bring myself to leave. All though half of the away contingent seemed to go down to the concourse to get p***ed.
  6. I will admit i left before the end of the Villa 3-0. I was 11 though. I left with my brother in disgust and my dad went apes*** on us. Biggest regret ever. He sold our Cardiff semi final tickets as punishment

    Alan Pardew

Very good. They always make me laugh
  8. Read this on 606... Rumours in Mexico are circulating that carlos Slim Helu one of the wealthiest men in the world is said to be interested in buying out Mike Ashley at newcastle. Lebanese-Mexican business magnate, philanthropist and the chairman and CEO of Telmex, América Móvil. His extensive holdings in a considerable number of Mexican companies through his conglomerate, Grupo Carso, SA de CV, Carso represented about 18 percent of Slim s $65 billion in public holdings. It is understood he has been watching the premiership with great interest since the billionaires started moving in, and would like to flex his financial muscle in the english top division also. Taking a failing club like Newcastle and turning them back to title contenders would be away of showing this. Mike Ashley is a marked man in the north east, and this could maybe be the white night they are looking for.
  9. Yep fair enough. No excuses for the following season. P***es off Ginola. Sells Lesley, Clark, Elliot, Tino. Brings in Pistone, Barnes, Rush, Pearce.

Swannyg66 Phenomenal Sunday dinner by the wife. I might let her sleep indoors tonight.
  11. Was miles better than Souness, Gullit and Allardyce. He was on a hiding to nothing. He was rebound guy. Wasn't even given a decent welcome, and the board were more interested in floating the club. Absolutely agree. It's been quite irritating watching people slagging off his time here at NUFC, the guy has a better track record as manager than many of the 8 or so different managers we've had in the past 7 years. Looks to me like people are letting their anti-Liverpool prejudices blind their vision of him as a manager and as a footballing legend. Sad, really. I can see what you're saying. But 2nd to 13th? In one season Howay

    Sunderland...

Name me how many teams vast vast majority of supporters would stay watching their team with all the s***e going on this week then to be 4-0 down in 25 mintues? And not only to stay but to still sing, chant and actually humour ourselves? Not many. And for fans to actually get riled up over a sending off in the 50th minute with no hope left in the game anyway. And have a cheer as loud as we did to pull the score back to 4-1? Daring to think that we could pull it back? I can tell you not many anywhere in the world. Christ even the Est Stand were up on their feet ffs.
  13. Subbuteo's great isn't it. WINNER
  14. Hats off to everyone. I loved the lads dressed up in the Gallowgate. I could see them from Level 7 and they started some standing behind the Gallowgate goal. Good on them. They were in front of me, they had a cracking time, even when we were 3-0 down. They were dancing about, doing conga lines. Kept us entertained and wanting to celebrate. Great to hear. I was very pleased with the standing behind the goal. It stretched back maybe 10 rows. It would be great if the Gallowgate could replicate the Stretford End for standing like. (As much as it pains me to say it )
  15. Hats off to everyone. I loved the lads dressed up in the Gallowgate. I could see them from Level 7 and they started some standing behind the Gallowgate goal. Good on them. The rendition of the Blaydon Races at 4-4 was great. Even at 3 and 4-0 down Level 7 were never silent.
  16. C*** Diaby pushed Barton's head from behind. Defo sending off. It was 4-0 at the time as well anyway.

I was screaming for subs to be made. He had Ranger warming up 5 or 6 times before bringing him on. Good team talk though

I guess you missed the first 70 odd minutes, did you lose your internet connection? This tbf

6 times in the first half. Yes we've amazingly came from 4-0 down today. But give me a break. He was s***e
  20. Just got back in! So proud of everyone associated with the club. Credit to all the fans who stayed and sang. Arsenal fans you are terrible Sooo happy. Shame we didn't win. On a serious note that game could be the one that keeps us up and destroys any doubt on going down. I was upset with the starting line up and the way we were set up. And i was annoyed we didn't bring a sub on til the 70th minute and we only brought a second on in the 86thish? Best/Loven and Jonas and surprisingly Enrique were poor today. But i'm not arsed. I'm over the moon
  21. Haven't been on in months. Still bottom
