The people getting crushed were shouting 'Brucie Brucie come and help us'. If it wasn't for Grobbelar more would have died

Completelt correct Merlin. I truly believe we were making progress. 4 points from those first 3 league games were very satisfactory. We had 4 points from three games. And we ended up with 34 from 38. I am a KK lover for all the right reasons, just why he resigns from jobs...on principal. But it does infuriate me to think what could have been last season if we had him for a whole one. Saying that mind i went to a John Beresford talk in last year. And you know when we had the training day at SJP? KK said to Bez 'can you hear that?' Bez replied no. And Keegan said 'Exactly'. There's no banter, there's no friendship. Something which was important last time around. We seem to have it now 18 months on. So relegation may be a blessing in disguise. But it was and still is humiliating. That is why i will take a bit more time to come around to Ashley

Don't think so, no. Don't think we were that unlucky... masters of our own downfall in so many ways. The successive late equalisers vs Wigan and Stoke both at home and at the hands of ex Toon players comes to mind as well. Aye Joe bloody Kinnear. 2-0 up at HT, and we stopped playing, we tried to consolidate How did i put up with last season?

Yep, and wasn't their goal off side?
-
Yep. But the anger for me was we really were going places before the whole Youtube scenario. And i bet there is a hell of a lot more we don't know. For example James Milner...

Just finished watching the 2008-2009 Premier League Years on Sky Sports, and it left me with a surprising amount of anger. From the start and optimism we had to the way we finished at Villa Park made it very hard to watch. I struggle to watch the 95/96 season but this was excruciating. I know currently we are living in optimism for next season and i obviously want us to succeed. But the whole saga does annoy me. Fingers crossed for a good Premier League Years 2010/2011. Martin Tyler: 'A season that began with the undermining of Kevin Keegan, to overtaxing Alan Sheaer, this season truly has been disastorous for Newcastle United'. Lets hope it doesn't happen again...

Plymouth Argyle v Newcastle United - Monday 19th April @ 7:45pm

There's also the small matter of us still needing a point to actually win the Championship first. I didn't realise it was such a gruelling ordeal for our professional players to sit on a coach! Ah I agree but wait and see, the fuss the players made last time about having to go by coach was a joke. That was because Ashley wouldn't pay for the flight. That's not the case this time. Any player who refused to travel because it was by Coach should be fined a weeks wages. So they can pay for the plane next time??? -
I echo that. Get off to a good start. Something easy...Sunderland at home West Brom at home, get the win! Then away to Blackpool (Saturday K.O, so i can go on the pepsi max ride )

Wiki is indeed true, always nice to see a footballer with a bit up top (pardon any pun) RGS Fortier Defendit Triumphans

I loved it under Keegan, but thats the reason. Cos it was Keegan

what he do? don't have sky Late'ish tackle on him was JUST caught rolled about holding his ankle, looking up though to see if a yellow was handed out, as soon as it was he jumped straight up and sprinted off. Twa*. Remember when Robinho did that to Beye so he could get sent off

what he do? don't have sky

SuperMac era and all that. And beyond...

There's a basic difference. Munich was a tragic accident, whereas Hillsborough was the result - in the main - of criminal negligence by the police and authorities which nobody has answered for. And for those people happy to blame it on Liverpool fans alone, many older heads will tell you it VERY nearly happened to us at Hillsborough on Boxing Day 1985. What happened in 85?
-
Probably come a day or two before the game/ or you have to pick them up
-
Apparently that's really how he tries and plays. Quick ball from keeper to the wings and it all starts from there. Simple but effective
-
I'd guesstimate at 4/5
-
Tough one, we all said how good a No.2 he was. But then when he became No.1 i think we've realised why he was No.2 especially last season. Given would have kept us up IMO
-
It would appear so. Except you should change it to 'from 24/04/2010'

This Then stopped after 5 minutes followed by a rendition of Hughton leading KEANO HE WA**S HIS DOG
