We definitely don’t need the size of stadium some people are talking about. I wouldn’t be surprised if this takes a good while to sell out. And it’s a 3pm KO! I’m sure the club are aware of this and will have data/stats to back this all up that a 80k seater stadium is a daft idea. I had 9 separate devices/browsers on the go ffs

Don’t want to come across as a PFM here. But I really like that our transfer strategy seems to be that we’re bringing in (or trying to) good young English players as well as the likes of Botman, Bruno etc. I think there’s a lot to be said for having a strong English/British cohort that understand the club/history/fans mixed alongside the ‘foreigners’. It just seems very different to the way City, Chelsea et al have done it for the last decade +

Just read a good (I know, crazy) article in the Mag about the Family Enclosure. I 100% agree with it. It needs to go (or be SIGNIFICANLY reduced). It was only 500 seats back when I was a kid, and my dad had to lump it and buy us all a seat elsewhere in the ground. As it happens, I preferred it. I got to sing and shout at the back of L7, where the Toon Ultras sat (remember them?). It helped me get more involved in the club and match day experience. I vividly remember going into the Family Enclosure with my mate in 2002 and my bro went with my dad. We beat Everton 6-2. I couldn't believe how many kids were sat inside paying on the PS2 or XBOX.
