Must have been? His was guaranteed for 100 years apparently.

Funnily enough when someone mentioned about buying a bond in here (can't remember who), a friend of mine told me he had a bond from the 90s. He completely forgot about it. He's been buying tickets as and when he can get them, which has been a struggle. He got a letter through the door asking him if he had another contact as they didn't have his email address (it had been that long) so he purchased his 4 bond tickets again. They'd been selling them off on a game by game basis for 10+ years He's rather happy now...

That's class

Good job he joined the NUST board again. Who’d have thunk it!

Whereabouts is the Gallowgate club? Is it in the South West corner? I wonder if they want it for more boxes? Still a pretty shit thing to do imo. Also, how come you only have to renew now and not a few weeks ago?

I do indeed @Coffee_Johnny. I would love it if we as a fan base could perhaps learn the second verse, which in my opinion is the best! Cushy Butterfield is also a classic - I had no idea the correct wording wasn't lilac mind! I've been singing that wrong for a while then...

Another year, another 9th of June, another year of me getting wound up about how bad the Blaydon Races are sung at SJP these days.

Thought this was interesting: The coming 2022/23 campaign is the 65th season since the 1958/59 season saw the introduction of a nationwide fourth tier, replacing divisions 1/2/3N/3S with 1/2/3/4. With Solihull Moors having been denied entry the total of competing clubs in those 65 seasons stays at 120. These are the clubs that featured at level 1 and level 1 & 2 since 1958/59. Arsenal (65 years Div 1) Everton (65 years Div 1) Man Utd (64 years Div 1; 1 year Div 2) Spurs (64 years Div 1; 1 year Div 2) Liverpool (61 years Div 1; 4 years Div 2) Chelsea (56 years Div 1; 9 years Div 2) West Ham (56 years Div 1; 9 years Div 2) Newcastle (49 years Div 1; 16 years Div 2)

99% of people definitely sing the wrong words then. I sang Premier League to start with but it’s pretty clear the majority sing Premiership.
-
We’ve got a song about Bruno where Premiership is in the lyrics

Sick of the same fucking discussion every couple of weeks. We’re not moving - Mehrdad said it recently, so why do people think we’re going to? Fuck me

Great video, music was a bit loud so I couldn't hear some of the clips with the pundits etc

Can’t disagree with this tbh If someone is prepared to do that, why should someone be able to log in at home at 09:55 and get one? Just my opinion like, but surely if people are prepared to wait outside the box office
-
Certainly the case for me

They changed the system in 2018. Was fuming as I lost all my history as well. They’ll never get it back either
-
I didn’t get a membership as I knew it had zero impact on 2022-23 season ticket sales.

Unbelievable turnaround. It fees like when we finished 11th under SBR in 00-01. Signed a few key players and we finished 4th the next season… Anyone think we can’t give it a go?! *Disclaimer - would be happy with progressing year on year. 10th is the next target!
-
Well done them. Let them have their day! They’re still a division below us and we’re about to be one of the biggest clubs in the land. If they thought 1992-2007 was bad…it’s going to get a lot worse.

One of my favourite Heron moments was him leading a full rendition of the Blaydon Races in the Cumberland Arms in the beer garden one summer. Was exceptional -

I love Heron -
Oops! We can do that like

A shame Chelsea didn’t win otherwise we’d have had an outside chance of top 10

Like Fulham 2009...

Do we think Everton will win comfortably tonight? Or will Palace be gunning for a top 10 finish? They could be in 9th place tonight if they win. Surely Burnley just have to get a win tonight against a club on the beach?
