A Northumbrian piper would actually be amazing -
How was that a pen, and how was that run up allowed?!

I don’t like this pot idea at all. What should being a member in the 2021-22 season have to do with 2022-23? Where do you stop with previous season ticket holders? I, like many, gave up my ST years ago because of Ashley. I’d be pretty annoyed if a one off member for one season got priority over me who had a season ticket for nigh on 2 decades and travelled the country at away games. There is no record of me doing this as the club changed systems in 2018. The only fair way is general sale. And imo I think it should be in person.

Was at the game today in the Director’s Box

ASM pretending to be injured again. Standard

Much better than v Liverpool

Just watched this after you posted about it. What an atmosphere from City. It seems a different club. Football seemed very different then, and yet it doesn’t feel that long ago. Keegan v SBR in the dugout though I wonder if City had gone down, whether they’d ever have been taken over in 2008. Possibly not… I wonder how KK is viewed by City fans. Perhaps how we view Hughton?
-
Dreadful They weren’t even decent until 2008 ffs. Didn’t we lose the last few at Maine Road? I remember fuming when Huckerby scored
-
When’s a realistic time to camp out from? Dunno if I can hack 2 days
-
Lost 2-0 at home to Chelsea. KK said we would never be a top 4 club within his 3 year contract. He was certainly right. This seemed to spark the downfall that we’ve taken 14 years to get out of. Hopefully we strive to become the club that Keegan wanted. I’m meeting him next week and I can’t wait to discuss this with him!

Ashley gave away 10,000 half season tickets in 19-20. How many would have been kept on going into this season? Not many I imagine. How many ST holders do we think there are? 25-30,000? I’d expect 10-15,000 being available

Stressed to f*** about it
-
But only in the Platinum Club? Which is what, a couple of thousand seats at most?!
-
How can it not go to general sale based purely off renewals..?
-
He's literally spoken to the Ticket Manager person an hour ago - and it's renewals only...
-
Surely not? I've asked my mate who works at the club and he said this isn't true? Surely it's renewals only...
-
Up and down… We’re in the County Cup Final v Alnwick on Saturday, which could be tough. League form is poor. Worried we may do a Gosforth if true be told!
-
And they all look like over priced shit
-
I hope not. My rugby club is there! Unless we got an amazing offer, it’s unlikely we’d move (also we’re there as a community club so unlikely to get planning permission for our ground, as far as I’m aware). Edit: Just realised you said DWP and not the Ministry in Longbenton.

Were there many old songs being sung? Great if so! Pretty sure that was discussed on here this week wasn’t it?

He was getting loads of selfies with young lads after the game on Wednesday. He must have (un?)ironical cult status amongst teenagers.

I knew you’d be back. Your guard is finally down!

I got a free ticket in the Platinum Club, right next to the Directors Box last night. Wonderful view, and I could pre order a pint for half time. Other than that, dreadful experience. Didn’t feel comfortable standing up on an attack, not singing (obviously) until the end. That privilege costs you £950pa. Safe standing in the Leazes and/or Gallowgate would make a huge difference. It’s fair game if you’ve got a ST in recent years, fair play. But i do think a lot of the old guard/singers could well be locked out forevermore depending on how general sale goes. Personally? I want to be singing and standing for the majority of the game - and the corner is the only regular outlet for that - and there’s no way you’re getting in there. Im surprised it’s not spread more either side tbh, though I did notice more standing further down the Corner into the Lower levels which is good. -
I hope Alex Hurst enjoyed his evening in the directors box. NUST paying off
