  1. Yeah, it's awful. It doesn't even comply with UEFA rules so we can't wear it in the CL. What a clusterfuck.
  2. That would piss me off if it happened. And I doubt it will happen.
  3. No. He's flopped at Sevilla; next season will probably be last chance saloon on loan somewhere else.
  4. Here Mike, mission accomplished: http://www.deportivo-la-coruna.com/pics/regular/Teresa-Herrera_2010_001.jpg Now you can sell with peace of mind.
  5. I don't know; say we and Madrid are trying to get Gundogan (been linked to both clubs in our press). Madrid can buy him in the summer, but we have to tell him to wait until January. That's a disadvantage. But well, we've ourselves to blame for that.
  6. Yeah, I'm surprised myself by how things have gone for us. I guess if Messi turns up that's all we need. Suárez has been majestic too once he's hit form, what a player. Xavi and Alves going leaves us with two big holes in the squad that we won't be able to fill until January. The idea is that we'll tie up deals for January, but I'm not sure how many players of calibre will agree to a winter move. We'll need another striker if Pedro leaves; guess we'll take a punt on Munir and see if he's up to it.
  7. That's because we're s*** in the transfer market. The academy bailed us out indeed. This season, if you don't count Vermaelen we've actually bought well I think. Ter Stegen, Bravo, Rakitic, Suárez have all been outstanding. Even Mathieu has been allright at the end. Funnily this 14 year period comprises both our best and worst periods in history, trophy-wise. What a weird club we are.
  8. this covers a decades worth, suggests an average of 20m euros more per season give or take http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2013/07/08/4096370/revealed-how-madrid-have-spent-300m-more-on-transfers-than Looks about right to me.
  9. Madrid have spent more than us; I'm not talking a significant magnitude (IIRC in the past six years we've spent around 500m and they have spent around 750m), but they have. And yes, we're quite bad in the transfer market.
  10. Real Madrid: 12 managers in 14 years.
  11. To be honest I just thought that dude had an unnaturally large arm.
  12. "Are Chelsea favorites to retain the title?". The season finished yesterday FFS
  13. I would say that Gimnastic Tarragona and Lleida are historically more important than Girona. Yeah, definitely.
  14. New Real Madrid manager to be announced next week. Obviously waiting on Carver then.
  15. Madrid's presser pushed back to 20.00 PM, both As and Marca claiming Ancelotti has already been told he's out.
  16. Not really, they are far from being the third biggest Catalan team. That would be Sabadell. It would be their first time in the top flight too. Girona is the most important Catalan town outside of Barcelona metro area, though. Lovely place too.
  17. Nicolás Otamendi's agent: "Nico is going to do all he can to leave Valencia". So cuntish. Best defender in la liga this season, though.
  18. Hope so, would be great for Barcelona. There's been an outpouring of support from the players for Ancelotti, plus the fans seem to be behind him too. A bit mad if Pérez indeed sacks him. All the better for us indeed.
  19. What metric of time are you on Damn. 7 PM / 19.00.
  20. Madrid to hold a presser today at 19 PM Spain time. Probably related to Ancelotti. Probably to announce they are sacking him.
  21. If Morata scores against us in the CL final he'll be back in Madrid in a heartbeat with a hero welcoming.
  22. Betis promoted to La Liga. Second automatic promotion slot will be a dead heat between Sporting Gijón and Girona. I hope Girona can snatch it, it would be great to have 3 Catalan teams in La Liga again.
