Needs sacking ASAP, only if it's just to bring Beardsley or whoever; he's lost the plot, he's lost the players. There's no way of picking up the pieces and producing a result with this state of things in the dressing room.

I'm going to hold my hands up regarding Sherwood. I thought he was just an arrogant fool out of his depth, but he's doing a fantastic job at Villa.

Due to head to head a draw in one of the final 3 matches won't be enough if Real win all their matches, right? Yep. I'm pretty sure we'll win the remaining two home fixtures; Real Sociedad don't travel well and Depor are just bad. Atlético away is the sticking point; yeah, I'm sure they wouldn't want to gift Real Madrid the league title, but I can't see Simeone not competing and it's not like they have much love for us either.

He's been throwing the players under the bus to save his skin for weeks now; nee surprise they don't want to play for him.
-
I don't even want him returned to his previous post. I want him sacked, homeless and made to suffer. Can't see him getting a job after this. Low level coaching at the very best. In a way, I sort of pity him; from being given the biggest break in his life, to ruining the rest of his career in just the space of 4 months. Only has himself to blame, though (although he seems to have decided it's the players' fault).

Anyway, pretty emphatic result. Córdoba probably didn't deserve that, although they crumbled spectacularly in the second half. Both Messi and Suárez are in spectacular form. Now, if somehow Madrid dropped points at Sevilla tonight, we'd have this in the bag. Fingers crossed, since this is the only fixture I see them having trouble with until the end of the season.

Given that he's neck-by-neck with Cronaldo for the Golden Boot, this is very generous of him.
-
I gotta say it, Alves has been pretty great these past couple months. Nothing like chasing a fat contract, I guess.
-
I hate you. I purposely resisted the urge to make any mention to the Leicester game Honestly your defeat left me in quite a bad mood, but Messi is setting things right. 0-4

Thought Cordoba defended really well for 40 mins and 5 mins later it was all over I felt quite sad for them actually. True. Iniesta been good today, his ball control is back to it's best. Neymar has been dreadful. Iniesta has been having a few good games lately, hopefully it means he's back; we'll need him for this final stretch.

Córdoba are pretty terrible, sadly deserve being at the bottom of La Liga. Serves them right for getting rid of Xisco.

0-3, Messi. Relaxing game this.
-
What are they saying? Another hole to lick though.. He's to blame for our slide etc. Easy when it's on foreign TV, sadly. The little reporting you get on here has lambasted him, too.

Carver's approach to address the situation reminds me of when the FM engine decides I won't win any more games and I randomly try players and tactics to see if something sticks.

I'm worried now. Please don't go down.

That's because Pardew was too smart to crack like that in a press conference. Journos have smelled blood and that's why they are grilling Pearson now; they know they can get some drama and juicy quotes if they provoke him.

This very same squad that Ryder deems unfit for purpose were comfortably midtable in the hands of Alan f***ing Pardew. Man, I don't know how you can put up with all that s***, I'm not even a proper fan and it does my head in. Also: You're a professional writer FFS

Even in this scenario I would put him second to having no manager! I suspect a monkey randomly flinging poo at a tactics board would achieve a higher win % tbf.

We'll be fine.

As for RB we've been linked to Monaco's Fabinho - of whom I don't know anything about. As for the transfer ban, the talk is that this summer we'll tie up deals that will come through in January; but it's absurd to have 5-6 players come in at that time of the season.
-
I hope he means that literally, and he's in pole position at the next Formula 1 Grand Prix, ready to be steamrolled by the rest of the cars.

I'm pretty bad at playing transfer games, really. What I know is that we *must* sign an RB, a CB, two midfielders (Xavi replacement, Iniesta replacement), and if Pedro leaves get somebody that can give rest to the front three.
