Brentford v Newcastle United - 14/1/17 - 3pm (Not on TV)

Colback, Gouffran, Perez....*shudders* -
Benfield match still on.

Our Blaydon Races song is actually a rip off of their Sunderland aces song don't you know. The fact that the Blaydon Races song was written in 1862 before they were even formed as a football club isn't important in this argument.

Derby vs Forest not picked yet? That's usually a nailed on Sky pick. Leeds v Brighton would definitely be a big match to show too. Might have been. Pretty sure it's a 1pm kick off but not sure if that's just on police advice or for telly. Leeds v Brighton looks a more attractive fixture than ours and then there's the Lancashire Derby between Blackburn and Preston so hopefully there's enough there to leave our match alone.

Yet at the same time they're all over the Scousers of Everton, proclaiming them as their second club and saying there's some sort of everlasting friendship there now. They're so thick it's beyond explanation. i thought they had that with Norwich? They have. And Feyenoord, and Aston Villa. It's a sign of insecurity really. "Everyone loves us and everyone hates the mags" when in reality they are such a footballing irrelevance nobody is really bothered about them either way.

Booked our train for Birmingham so it's a knocking bet it gets moved. I'm banking on the fact that Derby v Forest and Leeds v Brighton are on the same weekend and take preference over our match if there's anymore tv changes. Hopefully the dire spectacle at St Andrews last weekend comes into consideration as well.

Are there more fixtures to be announced? Seems strange us only being on once until.the end of March and we're wanting to book the train for Birmingham away.

RIP Graham Taylor. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/graham-taylor-rip-read-secret-12443733

And players.

I prefer his random attacks on opposition fans. The online spat with the Turks was f***ing hilarious.....and very brave. I heard he'd had to delete his account and come off twitter a couple of months back after receiving death threats from Villa fans. I've noticed he's back on now but only has 1/3rd of the followers he used to have.

FA Cup 4th Round Draw- Oxford United v Newcastle United
Wallsendmag replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Just imagining this being televised and a camper van with a dozen Geordies sat on the roof coming into view every time the ball goes down that end of the pitch. -
They reduced their season ticket prices to £175 and sold over 16k which is a record for them. They'll sell out against us so fair enough if they only give us 2k tickets. It's the stance that the likes of Forest and Hull took which annoys people.

Bernard and Robert down the left hand side were excellent. That moment they had down at Leicester remains one of my fondest memories of watching NUFC.
-
Huddersfield only allocate away teams half the stand now which is just over 2,000 tickets.
-
You're right. Other than the odd groan I've never heard a player get really bad stick at Newcastle in years. I think back to when I first started going to the match regularly and poor Wayne Fereday would get absolute pelters if the ball went anywhere near him and he would only have been on a few hundred quid a week for his troubles.

Any of Wycombe, Wimbledon/Sutton or Accrington Stanley at home would be my preference. -
FA announce match to be replayed.

He did but he also showed flashes of absolute brilliance at times to suggest there was something there to work with. Sels has shown none of that and just about everything that gets hit at him goes past him and the less said about his attempts to claim crosses the better.

Haven't for a clue who'll be playing where other than the forwards and the goalie
