Burton Albion vs Newcastle United - 17/12/16 @ 3pm (not on TV)

Eh? We won 1-0 man! -
I'm holding a grudge like. We plucked him from the Spurs reserve team, Rafa gave him the platform to produce the best football of his career, the fans gave him unbelievable backing which even his dad came out and said they were humbled by, he got himself back into the England squad and was very unlucky not to make the squad for the Euros. He repaid us by jumping ship at the very first opportunity to of all teams, Crystal Palace and Alan Pardew, a man with a reputation for ruining flare players. If one of the top teams had come in for him then fair enough, but to go there and not even give it a go here sticks in the throat. Even if he'd said I'll stay and reevaluate things in January when we'd have a good idea if Promotion was likely or not, that would have been fair enough but to leave for a far smaller club to play for a far lesser manager tells you all you need to know about him. No doubt we could get him on the cheap if we swap leagues with Palace in the summer but under Rafa I reckon we should be able to attract better than Andros Townsend, who, let's be honest, is pretty much a journeyman winger when you look at his CV.

Bottom of the league and £140m in debt. Happy days.

Just hoping for a miracle for the poor little lad.

Is he? Still prefer Yedlin tbh.

Wigan Athletic vs Newcastle United - 14/12/16 @ 19:45 - Live on Sky

I've been to Wigan before. He speaks the truth. -
They were offered £17m for him in the summer. Since then his stock has dropped considerably so I'd be amazed if anyone was prepared to offer anything close to £25m and even if they did the money would only be used to absorb some of this year's losses anyway! Was he not instrumental in their 3 wins recently? Couldn't tell you. Playing Defoe and Anichebe up top together seems to have been highlighted as the main reason. I do know he's had far more criticism than praise this season.

They're a 34 year old striker getting a nasty injury away from certain relegation but with their luck it's a knocking bet he'll stay injury free.

Carver was pretty bad as well. The letter he read out from Coloccini and offering the fans out being particular highlights.
-
Ryan Taylor just scored for Oxford.
-
He's made himself look an even bigger c*nt now. It was bad enough with his cheating to get 2 players sent off but people would have had a tiny bit of respect for him if he'd turned up here and took the stick he would receive from our fans and players like a man. Now all he's done is confirmed himself as not only a cheat, but also a coward as well.

Maybe not your entire day. Just 5 or 6 hours of it Either way you need to learn not to take offence on here so easily especially to a daft throwaway comment that wasn't even aimed specifically at yourself. Now go and have a nice cup of tea and calm down. It's only a daft messageboard after all. And I'm sorry for mocking you and your stream. No offence was meant.
-
He's just accused me of "turning my stream off in a huff" when it was actually a case of giving up a season ticket of many years and dozens of points. He's flounced away from NUFC more than anyone on this forum and yet points fingers back at anyone not currently going to the match faster than anyone else. It's f***ing weird. It wasn't aimed at anyone particular. Just a throwaway comment. However since its meant you've wasted your day trawling through this site looking for my comments dating back 5 years I'm glad I said it. Now put your dummy back in

Ironically they could find that they struggle to attract players when they move up a level. The thought of a midweek trip down to Colwyn Bay with work the next morning narve puts a few off.

How many times have I got to say I hated Pardew! However he's old news and we've got one of the world's greatest managers in charge now, so 2 years since he left I find the obsession with him a bit weird. You must have a lot of time on your hands raking through so many old threads mind Living the dream eh

They've got a poor squad but a big wage bill, have a small turnover in comparison to other teams in their league, are drowning in a mountain of growing debt and are bottom of the league and hurtling towards relegation. To top it off they play in one of the most deprived areas of the country. Any investor would need to have a screw loose to take them on if their end game was to make some money.

Burton back on sale. 95 points needed.
