Appeal rejected. Serves a 3 match ban.

Which is exactly the reason he'll get the job on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Aye but Carver says that Ashley is sitting there kicking every ball so clearly he gives a f***. It does feel like he's personally kicking my balls of every minute of Carverball I watch to be fair. His "style" of football is pretty painful to watch like. Probably more painful than a kick in the nads. The lad who sits next to me walked out after half an hour on Saturday cos he just couldn't stand watching it any more.

I actually agree on this tbh. Last match there was four Man United fan's sat in front of me who struggle to control themselves as each goal went in. Stewards chucked them out. If it was open to all there would be thousands tonight. It was members only last season and clearly it didn't prevent away fans being in home sections as your experience shows. They could have sold tickets only to supporters with a purchase history as other clubs do for their bigger games. The membership scheme has always been about the club making more money off the back of declining season ticket sales. At first they only sold away tickets to people with a membership and it's slowly crept into the bigger home games as well. Hope there's 1000's of empty seats tonight.

Probably a City fan tbf. If so, I don't think he would be allowed to referee a Man Utd game. Clattenburg and Michael Oliver don't do Sunderland games do they? No they don't. Doesn't really matter whether he supports Man Utd or not, a lot of his friends and family members will. Seems daft that they have the full country to pick a referee from and they go and choose one from Manchester.

When he first went to Crystal Palace he was full of praise for their fans and the atmosphere they create. Now he's reduced to begging them to turn up to watch his team. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2967729/Crystal-Palace-struggle-sell-away-tickets-televised-Premier-League-match-West-Ham-Alan-Pardew-urges-fans-leave-sofa-one.html

NUFC.com were saying over 50,000 had been sold for the Villa match by Wednesday morning. beat me to it, nearly a sell out apparently. I turned down a free ticket today as well. I'll stay in the bar. Staggering really. Blind loyalty or blind stupidity.

Missed a penalty tonight.

Maybe if he allowed some other sponsors some coverage inside the stadium at the expense of some of his sports direct adverts the club may well make a profit before player trading. Every other club in the PL has grown their commercial revenue massively in the past 7 years except us.

Said he couldn't complain about the effort and then in the same sentence says we were outfought. What a prick.

This message board is the only place I've ever seen where he's actually rated although more and more people are seeing sense now. Terrible player with a heart the size of a pea.

Hopefully they get hold of Ashley one day.

Worrying thing for me is the fact that we had the lead in the 3 we've drawn. Lead 3 times against Burnley - didn't win. Lead against Stoke - didn't win. Lead against Palace - didn't win. That's not just bad luck, the decisions he's taken during those 3 games when we've been sitting on a lead have meant taking 3 points when it could/should have been 9. To throw away a lead 5 times in 6 games is f***ing frightening. The negativity and fear will take years to get rid of, it's the worst combination you can get - scared of losing the game and petrified when we're leading. His substitutions have shown him up as a coward. The Stoke game particularly when we were 1-0 up and in the ascendancy when more composure from Perez and Obertan would have had us comfortably out of sight he makes terrible decisions and changes the whole mindset of the team to just try and hang on instead of killing the game off as any half decent team would have done. We invited the pressure onto us and the inevitable happened.

3 very well taken goals as well.

His 6 points from 6 games would equate to a 38 point season which would have us around the relegation zone. When you consider his 6 points have consisted of a win at a woeful Hull, a lucky draw at home to Burnley, and 2 awful performances in draws v Stoke and Palace it's a very poor start he's made (I haven't included Leicester in the cup). If, as expected, he's given the job full time in the summer expect 30,000 crowds next season followed by relegation. He's so far out of his depth as a PL manager it's embarrassing.
