Tbf all the chanting bar the one about their support was pro NUFC/positive so I'd question your final paragraph where you state there is a 70%-30% ratio of abusing people vs supporting the team.

If it was guaranteed he would lose his job if we lost against QPR yes I'd take it but he won't hence why I want us to win that game as I did today. I've come to terms with the fact that he's not going anywhere any time soon so I'll get behind the players and hope we continue this run of form for a while longer.

Can't stand Pardew but I'm not stupid enough to think he's getting sacked any time soon so I'll just channel my energy into supporting the team, ie not wishing them to get beat every week.

Just harmless embarrassing banter really. I doubt the West Brom fans, who are a great set of fans by the way, will be losing too much sleep over it. Too many people have gone soft these days. Abusing opposition supporters used to be a staple diet for any supporter but a lot of modern day fans get all precious over it. No wonder atmospheres are practically non existent in PL stadiums these days. Thought our support down there sounded top class on the telly. I wouldn't get yourself too worked up over it really. In the grand scheme of things it really isn't important. What's more embarrassing is the deadly silence at home games.

Wouldn't normally back them to win but noticed yesterday that they were 3/1 to beat Palace. Any PL side, with the exception of Burnley, at those odds to beat Crystal Palace has to be worth a punt (gambling head on) so i've stuck a tenner on. Will be happy to lose my cash but thought it was a very generous price.

Liverpool clearly there for the taking but as usual out cowardly manager hasn't got the gumption to send his players out to have a go at them. Lose 1 or 2-0 here.

0-2. Would have been more confident if this game had been at Anfield for some reason.

Once again he seems to have stumbled on a winning formation by accident than tactical genius.

Never been a fan of his and no doubt he was badly exposed last night but so were the rest of the back four and goalkeeper and Bayern were on a different planet at times.

I'm confident of 2 heavy defeats in the next 2 games. Still won't cost him his job though.

Beckham did really well out of his career for a player who lacked pace, couldn't beat an opponent with a trick and couldn't head or tackle either.

Pardews book of excuses states it's almost impossible to win a PL match after playing in the Europa League the previous Thursday so I'd have to go for a comfortable away win. If they turn us over no doubt he'll say we were rusty having not played in 8 days and they were far sharper for getting a game in on the Thursday night though.
