Rubbish. If you mean that there a people who give people undue stick for holding pro pardew views then yes. If you think that the criticism of pardew is a mob mentality then I would wholeheartedly disagree. He has made his bed in so many ways.

He's certainly better than Pardew in that he can actually organise a team and implement a style of football Exactly what is lacking. Im not saying that Martinez in the man but it's not going to happen without action from the 'board.'

I don't think those turning their noses up at the likes of martinez realise how chronic a situation we are in. Cite hyperbole if you want but this season has shown nothing but total regression; its not just 'a poor season, better luck next year lol'

Yes it does. Nobody wins leagues playing Allardyce/Pulisball. You're always better going with a manager that has an actual footballing philosophy if you want to achieve something - whether that is all out attacking football, possession based, counter-attacking, or more cautious. Something that is actually transferable to a top side, not this Rugby style/long ball/numbers game bollocks where you buy players to fit into the tactic and bully your way to 13th in the league. The latter shouldn't exist, it goes against the entire notion of competition in the league. These guys are happy to pick up away draws where they can, spunk money on aging dross, buy handydowns from Man Utd and simply be happy with expensive mediocrity because it keeps them in a job until people just get bored with apathy. Yep Hard to quantify but the ownership stumped when things were needed in the end and the players are showing signs of descent with regard to the way they are playing.

I fail to see how anyone in agreement with the last part in any sense wants to keep treading water with him at the helm.

Realitically, we might get martinez but you're either looking abroad or the lower leagues. I'm not sure who to go for; its the job of the higher powers to do the right thing. Pardew is poison and no matter how incremental the improvement it has to change a soon as possible.

I wouldn't want either tbh. Not sure why it's ludicrous to think Pulis is better though. Up until this season they've alway been comfortable mid-table. The bulk of that message backs up my point though. More attractive football doesn't neccesarily mean better. Depends what you go to the match for. With the players we've got and will continue to get under Carr's guidance, more attractive does mean better. Attractive football obviously, but I remember Wigan up here this season and the first half was ridiculous. They must have played about 5-6 suicide balls from the keeper and defence because they're told to do that. Even when they went down to ten, they didn't really change and a better team than us in better form than us could have scored 10 that night. Fair enough. I think it's all pretty meaningless though. Only one thing matters, do you think he'd be better than Pardew? The answer is yes. This clown is going to cost us our enthusiasm, our players and at worst out league status. Thats the bottom line.

As I've said before in this thread; if he doesn't go then thats a massive statement of intent from the powers a the top in terms of ambition. Ive been pleased with them generally this season. They did all Pardew asked for this January and he hasn't put his money where his shite spewing mouth is.

My view is that Pardew is out the door this summer. We are going to avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth with Sunderland finishing ahead of us. The limp end to the season will see Ashley finally lose patience. Most of us knew this season was going to be shit way back in November. The only distinction was the exact shade of brown. And it's looking canny fucking dark atm. Gone through the Pulux colour chart about 5 times over.

Honestly I have never seen some body so wrong so many times at NUFC than Steve Wraith. nothing else....since august...despite an influx of players in jan...this is what you're up against as well as the shit spewed by Alpha Papa.

I genuinely believe that he feels that he has tinker somehow to justify his position as manager. if we win (scrape a draw) its down to his intuitive tactics and subs. If we lose he has his party line prepared and he tells himself more 'tinkering' needs to be done. He comes from some bullshit school of thought where simplicity (attacking will have them on the back foot) in too simple so again he has to justify his position and authority because he can tinker and the result is the production of bullshit dossiers and micro-analysis of the other sides without a great deal of thought for our own basic processes like movement and passing. What results is a muddle of ideas that when it inevitably fails or is countered by some incisive thinking, is reduced to the basest anti-tactics that strangle expression and creativity. It's bullshit and its a poison and lets just get somebody who has a positive approach to the potential successes of the last result, not somebody who focuses on the last few of our own and others with crippling levels of bullshit.
