Too many NUFC fans are overrating the team. Just look at the lack of creativity and goal scorers in it ffs. I might agree if we're talking about pushing for 5th and being comfortably in the top ten each year but we're in a complete mire; largely down to the way we play, so that argument only travels so far imo. We're very fortunate that QPR are a team happy to self-destruct bankrupting themselves on mercenaries, Reading have sacked a manager too soon with a championship squad and that the Mackems have had a manager as dour as ours has been.

Four wins out of our last six home games. We've been shit this season but lets not go completely off the map here. I mean if you seriously believe we look like we wont win another game then stick a bet on for us to get relegated before tomorrows match. You can easily get 10/1, probably more. That might make sense if relegation was between only Villa and ourselves, but it isnt. Then again you're probably just taking the piss, I hope We're in a battle; I'm not assuming relegation. Couple of those games werent in the league either. We are not only playing badly; we are dire at times and all I've stated is if there isn't a paradigm shift from the way we are playing then we'll get sucked in. Maybe I'm on edge more after the prior relegation but I'm surprised how calm people seem to be at this stage.

Even if we play as we do? Or have other factors been that significant? FWIW I agree with not kneejerking a sacking but christ the prognosis is bleak footballwise.

I think hes crap but I have a hard tie arguing with what rich said and all jokes and frivolity aside hope he can prove me wrong. Sceptical given current approaches though which must change.

Whether they come or not; having one eye on the door can only be a bad thing. They are paid handsomely on great contracts; which seems to count for little unfortunately these days. You've got to be seen to be aspirational and competitve which despite the legacy of last season with the Europa league, we haven't been.

It's on all him to enact the change imo. Hes been given the tools and support this window. Weve had bad bad luck with individual injuries but its no excuse for the play weve seen. Last season was brilliant but he'll warrant respect praise when he delivers (Top half). He is not. If he is here next season then he needs to revise his approach otherwise his remaining tenure is pointless.

All depends whether you beleve he is capable of change being a young manager. I'm immensely sceptical.

Yeah. He's clearly a nice bloke; he's consistently clueless however. I dont know who you would get however. Ashley's stock has only really improved significantly since the backpedal on the name change bollocks and the recent transfer support. With the latter of those two, it's long past the time where Pardew put his money where his mouth is.

I think most memebers of RTG are dissappointed with the appointment...In that he isn't right wing enough. They'd sooner dig up Hess and be convinced that he'd do better than MO'N.
