I've only seen him play this season, but says a lot he's 17 and with the first-time and starting at the beginning of the season. His performance last weekend was incredible, he's definitely very hyped so hopefully we see him in Europe soon.

Marsch with a midfield of Tyler Adams and Caden Clark next season. Always been a RB Leipzig fan, great history there.

throwing the headphones then putting them back in the drawer big michael scott energy.

I was a 4 a few months ago, 8 when Fulham could've overtaken us with games in hand, 0 now though. There's no chance Fulham are picking up 9 or 10 from 15 or West Brom 13 from 18 and we get zero/Brighton or Burnley dont go down either.

Took the lead for about a minute

Turns out Giggs really is a shitty shitty person

It was good to read this from LaLiga's presdient There's never been a better time to regulate football than now and with these clubs at their weakest it can be done to help everyone. Cap agent fees, cap player salaries/wage bills (for real this time), enact more redistribution, etc. Less money needed to operate should mean less dead rubber matches, too, feel free to rework the CL so more games matter, make the whole damn thing a knockout tournament. These clubs clearly can't be trusted to manage their finances so some regulation has to happen to prevent them from doing this again.

Been following here Truly insane stuff

Perez lying for fun in an interview again. It's a shame he'd never do this with a media member who would challenge him. Must be absolutely awful to work with.

I don't think it was a bluff, they got a massive JP Morgan loan from it and apparently signed non-binding contracts. I genuinely think it was just a clusterfuck because the people who really put it together are incompetent and are used to things just going right for them. Whether they win or not remains to be seen, but they definitely lost today. It's embarrassing for all involved and the PL and UEFA now have a remit to fix things for everyone, not just those clubs, because the threat of a breakaway league is pointless for now. I know neither will do it, but they're more powerful than ever.

Literally went forward with it without a TV deal in place and not even a full league It was a farce from the beginning and it's no surprise considering some of the people involved are operating a few of the worst run clubs in Europe.

Going to be class when the key external stakeholders are back in the stands

It was mentioned on Football Weekly this morning. Saw someone else in here say it too so not sure if it was reported elsewhere

City and Chelsea were the two said to have joined last minute. Neither of them need it like the others, wouldn't be shocked if they're the first to give in.

A big part of this seems to be their assumptions about what fans abroad/younger fans want without doing any research to figure out if they're correct and if this risk is worth it. After covid, I don't know how possible it is for media companies to pay the money for tv rights their expecting. It's certainly not going to happen here.

It doesn't even get Americans excited anymore. Attendance drops every year, no one is consistently paying $100 to watch friendlies.

Fair play to the leagues and FA for stepping up. Thought they'd finally give in.
