I think it’s a combination of the media wanting them too (As clearly the media narrative is wanting a Liverpool title win) Liverpool fans desperately trying to convince themselves Leicester will and fans of every other club who don’t want Liverpool to win it shitting themselves that Leicester will get something and trying to prepare for it by convincing themselves it’s going to happen so it’ll be so much better when City do hopefully win. Have a bad feeling about it myself and I think i fall into that last category, be keeping a nervy eye on the scores at Fulham next week even if City do win tonight but it’ll be horrendous in general if they don’t.

Was at the game at Peterborough today, live 20 minutes from there so went with a mate. Horrendous quality, both sides were very poor, Sunderland look like a typical league 1 side which says it all, their fans seem to have embraced lower league football as well the way they carry on and with their chants, proper small time. They brought a lot of fans but inside the ground they were silent until they scored late on, few of their fans ran on the pitch and they let off some flares when they scored, was the only noise they made properly all game, was incredible when Peterborough equalised, a lot of their fans were saying how much they “hate Mackems” seems they really don’t like them as well. Was a top day out

Box office website has been done so all afternoon so haven’t been able to actually log on to get one yet which is annoying, heard there was only 500 left earlier so hopefully there not gone by the time it starts working for everyone again

Scenes in Trafalgar Square are incredible to be fair to them, it’s impressive. Slightly marred by the fact half of them there probably don’t even go to the games normally but still. Stadium is awful as well isn’t it, first time I’ve been, was in the upper tier but moved to the lower during the first half, that in itself is weird that there’s no checks or anything, the gap between uppper and lower is ridiculous and the whole middle bit just doesn’t look finished. Trying to get back to Stratford International after the match is a joke as well. Definitely won’t be going again unless it’s a massive game for us there for whatever reason

Why do Sky not even have anyone watching the fa cup games? I know they don’t have the rights so but there’s not even any reporters at the games or anyone watching them on the panel..they must still be able to do that? Typical sky though, if it’s not something they show they’ll pretend it’s not there and hardly even talk about it

Really good game that, would love Leeds back in the Prem, that away end looked awesome at the end. Always nice to see Villa lose aswell. Should be another cracking game next aswell, can see both sides going for it so a few more goals hopefully.

He was a very good player for us in his last couple of seasons, as above was a game changer and we were a lot better when he played. He also showed a lot of commitment on and off the pitch in that time when he sorted his attitude out, was part of that real likeable set of lads under Hughton IMO. Since he’s left he’s been nothing but suppprtive and complementary of us and loves to wind up the Mackems, he’s decent for me.
