Proudly still own the last one..

Weird. Can only think that's a nod to PAC as Gabe is from Nottingham.
-
Can we put a disclaimer or something that the leaked image was just the club taking the piss by leaking something that was clearly not what they wanted and oerhapsnit was a planned leak? Like someone said earlier, they probably have their design ready and put out that hideous leak so that whatever their design is would be better than the leak.
-
any fans of this?
-
Why not just increase to 75,000 instead of 72,000? We know corporate is going to take a lot so might as well staple another 3000 seats in.
-
Aye. Looks like it. Their fans seem to think so and are happy they're doing the shit.
-
Just went on their forum to see how they feel bout it. Generally, they're happy it's still going to be there and that the women get to play there. Some think this is some kind of Chelsea-styled PSR shenanigans by the owners. Some also said Sunday is now a massive anti-climax, not a goodbye but just a celebration of moving into the new house while renting out the old one.

This. It will just cost them more justbto maintain and replace parts of the stadium. The report on the BBC website says it will be the biggest dedicated women football ground at 39k so doesn't sound like they'll downgrade the capacity. I don't know how much the Everton ladies regularly get through the gate at their matches but 39k seems a bit high?
-
Aye, Coventry had to win that 1st leg and hold on to it here. Fat Frank used up his luck to get to the playoffs. Who will hold up those scarves though? These cunts all showing up tonight? No night shift?
-
That was the original plan. The owners did a feasibility study and they decided to keep it after all. Sky probably knew about it and let TNT take the final match there this Sunday
-
Just read Everton are not going to demolish Goodison and instead giving it to their women's team. Not sure how to feel about that for their fans. Supposedly saying their emotional goodbyes to the ground on Sunday but hey, just in case you miss it, you can always come back and watch a game, only that it would be the women's game though. How long until another Aluko starts piping up to say the lads get a big, shiny, brand new stadium to play in while the women only get a broken, 100 year old ground? That is, if they properly maintain it too. I mean, it's good to see the ground will be preserved and still be in use but rarely you get these situations where you get a new ground and the old one still functions as one as well.

We had some cracking keeper tops too. Shame adidas don't give a fuck about them anymore. Seahorse purple, Tyne bridge, the green one in the same sesaon, even the Hislop/Pav blue grey ones were great.

I have a feeling (maybe a stupid, hopeless one) that Man Utd might at least get a draw against Chelsea. Their defeat to West Ham was so bad and with Amorim pretty much telling his players off to the media, hopefully they atleast don't just lie down on Friday. They have somehow dugged up some big results against the big teams this season like City and Liverpool away so hopefully they can do something. Spurs are hopeless though. Villa win. Any dropped points by the others, we'd have our tails up for our match on Sunday. Forget top 5, "you can tell him now if you're watching it, we're still fighting for this 2nd place, and he can bring all the light bulbs he wants into the dressing room.and hope he gets them to work, and... and... I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it!"

Since we know what's coming up this coming season, what are your hopes for a throwback kit for the following season? Obviously, predicting the home's always going to be tricky. Either going new design or there'll be a dab of historical kits somewhere in it. We'll probably still have a white/green kit as an away or 3rd kit no matter how much we hate it. But which kit do you guys think adidas would remake? Let's just pick from our previous adidas made-kits. I'd choose this one for the colour scheme, black and blue and the collar. And seeing adidas seem to have a weird taste of going for 'not so obvious/famous' kits to remake, then I'd love to see this done again. of course, if ever adidas want to go full on bananas with us, then I'd prefer this:
-
It was the placement of the Brown Ale logo which made it "different" to other kits at the time. Sure, the colour scheme itself was wild. But you don't see the sponsor's logo being part of a kit design nowadays. It's jus plastered on nowadays.
-
Think that's done in some European leagues like thr Bundesliga iirc. I don't have a problem if the 18th placed Prem team were any good or atleast a good day out for away fans to visit again. But imagine it was fucking Southampton again and they beat Coventry. Fuck going down to their place again for a 1230pm Saturday game or 8pm Monday night football in December to play the shittest of the shittest.
-
Well, you did splash some cash on Zirkzee in the summer but don't know what the intentions were back then, if not to help Hojlund. Aye, he is a different type of forward and still young but can't just forget him for that. He was a zero gurantees sugning for sure though.
-
I love fuckin Leeessstttaaahhh.. because of Kassbian though.
-
Arteta should trying buying Dias. He had the ball excuse and Dias has the grass excuse. Perfect combo.
-
fuck I got goosebumps reading that Big Joe might be back. Let him play this. Knock the stuffing out of Palmer and that rascist Enzo.
-
So no more Newcastle UnTIED in our shirts anymore?
-
Absolutely gutting for the team that finishes 6th to have to play the Europa League anthem at their ground next season while the Champions League anthem will be played at Old Trafford or the London Yankees Stadium.
-
A black back won't liken us to any other particular team. A white back though, we look like Fulham, Leeds, heck even Brighton nowadays. #BlackBackMatters
-
Thanks mate for actually doing it. White collar, black sleeves and black back, that is better than what we'll get imho.
-
understood. no worries mate. I kind of hate us with a big white patch at the back. Makes us look like Leeds or Fulham. Black makes me think of that Owen relegation season kit but think it's a change from what we usually have.
