Just a bit more detail. That is definitely at SJP in the season after we lost the title race. Was judging this on the jersey Pavel was wearing. It was that shirt and also the one with the sunset Tyne bridge that season. Also, Tino's debut was never Live on TV. It was on a February Saturday 3pm kickoff. Only got to hear it on radio and it was f***ing amazing just hearing it. Later that night, watched it on MoTD. Those were the days that you would stay up just to watch the highlights. December to Dismember

i remember in our 1st season back in the Premiership and we just signed Ben Arfa. Chris Hughton had to make a decision to either use Jonas or Ben Arfa on the left. He started the season with Jonas but as Jonas performances became shit, Hughton dropped him for Ben Arfa at Everton IIRC. Ben Arfa goes onto score the wonder goal and I thought at that time, well that`s the end of Jonas sadly. But Ben Arfa picked up that horror injury and Jonas was back in the team. He scored against Man City and he was sort of revitalised after being dropped. Looked liked a player who suddenly realised he had competition for his place and he went on to have a great season, maybe his best as the old and leggy Jonas. Just think he needs to be dropped for a few games, bring him on as a late sub to defend a lead or something.Let his appetite flow again. He definitely wont perform like he used to but benching him would send a signal to him that he could stay there. The very least he can be valuable in the team again or do something useful. If that doesnt work, I think he could be another Alan Smith again here. Staying as a team leader but from the dugout and on the training pitch.. its all up to Mr Pardew i guess

People need to remember that we have been here before with us in deep shit and Ashley not giving a fuck about it.. and when he did, he appointed Keegan n Shearer just to appease the fans..Keegan because of his history with the club and Ashley did what the fans wanted..sack fat Sam and get a fan favourite in..Shearer was a desperate measure and he gambled on Shearer`s inexperience..what about his others appointments? Hughton was brought in because he was getting the job done and Ashley didnt have to scour the divisions to look for someone.. Pardew was appointed because he is a supposed mate of Ashley and someone who really wanted the job.. But how can anyone forget that Ashely didnt give a fuck that we were in shit trouble and appointed Joe Fucking Kinnear? Is that what people really want to see? See Pardew sacked and Ashley trolling the fans with another shit manager? of course it wont be Kinnear but I can see Ashley really fucking it up some more with someone ridiculuos.. Hell he might even promote Carver or Stone..!

sacking Pardew and replacing him with another manager who is `on form` right now would be stupid..like a team, managers will lose that form some day just like Pardew is having right now..some of the names that have been mentioned here have been having success as of late, but hell, even Artie Ziff down the road won cups and league titles in the past and look at how shitter his team are now with him? Pardew is having a hard time right now but we dont have a enough quality players..yes some say we do have many internstionals in the team and Pardew is not using them properly now, but when they are injured or suspended, Pardew cant seem to adjust.. we need more quality players Mr.Ashley..and we dont mean Shefki Kuqi.. Sacking Pardew is not the answer to our problems..

if people are suggesting names that probably would have the same impact or effect that Pardew, then its better not changing managers at all..theres no point in changing managers just for the sake of it..if anyone was to replace Pardew, that man must have the capability to get the results in the short term with the players we have right now, and continue that success with new players in the long term.. but thats what we already have dont we? Pardew brought success last season with the players he had and a few new players..this season was supposed to be the year that we were to push on with the core of the players from last season and adding a few quality ones in..at the minute, its not going smoothly..we didnt add and build on last season because the club didnt get the players we ought to get in.. Pardew`s tactics maybe his undoing right now..but who`s to say a new manager will get better results? new managers would obviously want his own backroom staff, his own players, his own training style and so on that will put tne club back a few steps..we`re not going any forward either but I do feel the biggest problem for us this season is the depth of the squad after all the suspensions and the incredible injury list we have right now..Pardew`s tactics is another problem that adds to that.. Getting the manager out the door now will not guarantee that the team will get back on track..in fact, we could just crumble even further....i say Ashely needs to give the funds to Pardew this January (highly unlikely) to help curb the slide and cure the team again..if that doesnt work the we do have a problem..if anyone ever does replace Pardew in the near future, needs to be at better quality, not on par with him..get him the players he wants and we need and then judge him..we are suffering badly with the lack of quality replacements.. knowing our owner, he doesnt have a clue about finding quality in desperate situations.. Joe f***ing Kinnear anyone?
