There seems to be a lot more hatred for Jack Colback now than there was 12 months ago. I like to think I've partly contributed to that by preaching about this monstrosity of a footballer on a regular basis, in boozers in and around Newcastle. Colback is pure scum. A turncoat cunt who shouldn't have been allowed to step foot in SJP. I can't wait till the cunt finds his level back in the Championship with a Bristol City or Burton Albion - even if we go down we must get rid. I can't stand him as a footballer as he's not very good, but to call him utter scum is a bit much like.

Frightening levels of drivel. Chris Sutton is one of the stupidest people on the press circuit. Imagine uttering the phrase: "Rafa Benitez is a big gamble, especially when Nigel Pearson is available" with a straight face. I really don't get the sudden fascination with Pearson, he's only managed in the Premier Leage for one full season, and bar an 8 game stint the majority of that was rock bottom of the league, and suddenly he's an expert at surviving relegation

Thought he was our best player yesterday, and that he always looked to go forward, and for the most part was causing trouble doing so.

Don't know why Wiji is getting stick, he wasn't great but he linked play up well enough, and got back a fair few times to help out Colback.

Think a draw was a fair result, we looked decent in spells, but both teams are just bad. It's a good base for Rafa.

Walcott Ali Barkley Sterling I wouldn't play 4 in midfield tbh. Yeah maybe, the main issue with our midfield (looking at the squad for the international break) is that all the players seem mismatched for each other, and we don't have a decent defensive mid, maybe Henderson or Drinkwater, but neither of them fill me with confidence, and I don't know much on Dier so can't really form an opinion.

Norwich play them in a few weeks, if there (Palace) run continues and Norwich win that game, then they will be right in the thick of it, they are kind of mirroring what we did last season, and at this stage people were saying that there was no way we would get dragged into it, and just look what happened, so its not impossible, lets hope they go one better.

We're still rather shit, but atleast were compact and normal shit, and everything is working in the same direction as apposed to the runny loose unorganised shit we've been served up recently.

Decent half, don't think either team has looked particularly good tbh. We've kept them out and looked compact for the most part. There are foundation block for Rafa here if the result stays the same and we don't get bummed. Anita and Colback have been our worst players.

It's almost like clubs are starting to realize that for the most part English managers are old cloggers who have no right managing a top flight club. Eddie Howe being the exception.

Best league in the world It probably is like, and I'm not a great fan of it, but it has it all. Yeah i'd rather this season we're having in England then whats currently happening in France, Spain, Italy and Germany, where its the same teams at the top and utterly predictable.
