While they don't play the most boring football in the league, I do think Palace as a club are the most boring in the League, they never look to push on, and only aim to continually finish 11th nothing more, nothing less, the fact they rehired Roy after Viera's first blip in form is testament to that. They also never even think about targeting a cup competition for a bit of excitement. They just seem pointless.

The entire fanbase have been complaining for weeks that we've not been able to rest and rotate the squad, this is a good opportunity to give players like Gordon who have been run into the ground that rest. One because it's a lesser priority competitions, and two because players like Krafth, Dummett and Hall who have performed well in the last two rounds deserve the chance to keep the faith in them.

That's quite a shite draw all things considered.

Would like to rotate some of the players that have played almost every game recently (Lascelles, Tino, Gordon etc), but also remain a competitive XI, something like: Karius Krafth Dummett Burn Hall (if he eligible, Tino if not) Miley Longstaff Bruno Ritchie Miggy Wilson/ Parkinson
