You realise he went around Europe looking at different teams training methods and tactical implementations and in his year out the game right? He doesn't need to be at a game to get valuable information about elite teams. In fact it's probably easier doing it remotely

Absolutely, I don't understand why people seem to be scrutinizing Howe so much and so intently, he got us to this level and has shown at multiple times over the last few years that when we go through the tough patch, he gets us out of it, with the odd tactical tweak. It wasn't a vintage performance, but it was always going to be a bit like that in our first game back, especially when you're going away to the San Siro and it was a lot of these guys first taste of Champions League football, and we were resolute, strong and preformed well off the ball, left absolutely everything on the pitch and that all you can ask for. Getting a point away from home it's great, and hopefully the players now feel settled at this level. Up the fucking lads.

We absolutely don't like, they've had some half chances and one clear cut chance, and have obviously been the better, but it's not been that bad.

Will take that as a first half back in the Champions League, we've not looked like the stage is beyond us, they've had the more of the chances, but we've controlled possession well, and got into some decent positions, even if we haven't created much at this point. Plenty to be encouraged about, and we have options on the bench too.
