"Mauriss’ proposed takeover of Newcastle was laced with risk, as his proposal included a draft document with MSD Partners for a £150m loan which included interest rates of 7.5 per cent per annum, rising to 8.5 per cent in the event of relegation to the Championship and defaulting altogether in League One." Yeah, glad this one past us by

So you mean that dude, who doesn't have a wikipedia page, and there was barely any information about him prior to the takeover attempt, and whose TV company barely had a presence online or even a channel in the US, turned out to be a massive fraudster, no-one could have seen this coming, no-one.

Huddersfield looking for their 3rd manager of the season. Time for a Brucey bonus?

So does this mean Man United definitely aren't getting Champions League, I think it means Man United definitely aren't getting Champions League.

I'm the complete opposite, think its one of the best away kits we've had in years, its really really smart imo

Amazing news if thats true, always seemed like a lovely lad.

If Man City want to get a 15 point deduction, that'd be grand.

I just saw his quotes in the "Managerial Merry go Round", and I completely retract the above statement tbh

It might be unpopular, but I actually rate that from Jones, he's being honest and critical with himself, which is a really good trait to have, and is the quality of a person who is without ego. It's one of the reasons I personally love Keegan.

I'm not sure if Howe will do it as he's quite a loyal manager and will probably stick with ASM, but it wouldn't surprise me if this lad starts next week.
-
Ah yes, I too would have started... *Looks at bench from today* Ryan Fraser

This is probably the most well rounded and fair post in this thread....

Thought he looked quite assured and comfortable in possession when he came on, didn't do anything exceptional, but recycled the ball well, and with speed, while also maintaining decent positions. Probably passed it better then Willock did today, admittedly in a small sample size.
-
To say he's "Back to the old Miggy" is wrong like, he's still been pretty decent recently despite the the lack of goals, his link-up play is light-years to where it was, he is much better with the ball at his feet, and he's much more decisive and knows what he wants to do, and 9/10 he finds his man. He's also the player who triggers our press so plays a vital role in our team.

Frustrating and annoying game of football. We looked leggy, and it looked like some of the players where still on the come down from Tuesday, but that said we probably created the better chances. I swear one of these days we're going to batter someone, as we're creating chances, and getting into the right areas, we're just not putting them away, i'm be much more concerned if it was the other way round. Rice was outstanding today by the way, he would be perfect in our team. Our record since the World Cup in all competitions is: Played 10 Won 5 Drew 4 Lost 1 Scored 11 Conceded 3 These few draws are frustrating, but not been horrendous, and its worth remembering we're still in an amazing position, we're in a cup final and 4th in the league.
