Honestly, can we make Burn or someone else the captain for that 30 second period. Bruno is awful at it
-
There was a camera angle that showed that really well, he was aiming for a midfielder (Can't remember who), and it honestly went about 10 yards wide of the target, it wasn't like MGW was tightly marking someone.

Man City have been the better side here like. Liverpool have actually been a bit shit.

Why would anyone be happy, when their are points to be won in the negativity league.

Moise Kean took a knee to the head in Fiorentina's game against Verona, he got allowed to come back on, and then a couple minutes later he collapsed on the pitch, had to be stretchered off, and sent straight to the hospital. The sooner independent assessors can come in for head injuries the better, the power needs to be taken away from the club which has a vested interest.

Okay, "Utterly Dreadful" vs "Really Poor", the point still stands and you know it
-
It really isn't, he's not been as good as he has been in previous seasons, and his passing has been off for the most part, and personally I would probably play Botman and Burn going forward, but to say he's been "Utterly dreadful" all season is hyperbole at it's finest and factually not true.

I mean thats just not true

For how poor we where second half, did they actually create anything in open play? All of their threat came from set-pieces.
-
Basically, reading some of the comments you'd think we got spanked 5-0. It was a good win against a team we're trying to chase, along with other results, this has been a really positive weekend.

Van Persie the new manager of Feyenoord.

That game was like a microcosm of our season, when we're on it we're really good, like the first half, and when we're off it, we look really poor. Either way, we did enough over the game to win it, even if that second half was really jarring, and it was a really important win that gets us back in the Champions League places.

Well that was a quality half of football, can tell they had a rocket up their ass after last week. Even before they scored, we looked miles better than them, the midfield balance has been really good, Willock and Miley have been our best players, with Hall a close third. More of the same second half please.

Just watched the highlights, he looks like he was running the show

Why are they booing? It's February and that's their first home loss of the season FFS
-
Because the lino flagged it offside?

Obviously Rashford assists Asensio for Villa's first

I'm not going to lie, I absolutely hate it when people say "Its an utter trash league" or something of that ilk, as its not, its the same sort of energy as people saying the Conference League is a waste of time. People seem to forget that it is a second division, of course the quality is going to be less than the Premier League, thats the whole point of the pyramid, but that doesn't mean its terrible. The Premier League is this weird hyper-reality standard of football, that basically any league in the world is going to look poor in comparison, the Championship isn't as polished, players arn't as good, but that means there are more mistakes and more carnage, which ultimately means anyone can beat anyone, which tends to mean its entertaining. And yes, the chasm between the Premier League and the Championship is getting wider, there isn't any denying that, but that's not the Football League's fault, that's purely at the hands of the Premier League, and the wealth hording that goes on. As there is so much money in the Premier League that its basically next to impossible to compete when teams come up. Like look at Ipswich, they had two incredible seasons, got back to back promotions, and unless they go out an spend £150m they don't really have a chance, as every other team in the league has a squad of players worth at least £20m each (By comparison the highest ever fee payed by a Championship club was £16M), and if they do speculate to accumulate, oh look, here's a 9 point deduction for have the temerity of trying to compete, like Forest had last season for their spending spree when they first came up. There are a lot of issue in our game, and basically 99% of it comes from the top.

Surely thats a good thing? Means its a competitive league

What a great set of 3pm kick-offs that is.

I said at the time Ten Haag got appointed that Southgate wouldn't have actually been a horrendous appointment, and he certainly wouldn't have been as bad as Amorim has been so far. Southgate's downside is tactical, but what he lacks in that, he's gains in building chemistry and changing the mentality of a team/nation, and that's what Man United needed, a little bit like what OGS bought, he wouldn't have been a long term solution as his limitations would eventually catch up with him, but at the time, given where their squad and team was at, he made sense, and could have been a facilitator to get them back to where they think the belong, for the next guy to then take them to that next level. As it is they got someone who very clearly needs a full pre-season to get his ideas across, is young and inexperienced, and naive to the extreme, and they're paying the price for it, and its glorious to watch.

In their next 3 they have Ipswich and Leicester. They can't be that shit they lose both of them, surely? If they do, they'll actually be in the shit.
