Which leagues are way better than this one? Bundesliga, it assume. Although apparently his record is inconsistent at Wolfsburg, so the jury is out. He also scored 32 in 34 at Heerenveen, and i'd say Eredivisie is on par with the Championship. 36 goals in 80 games for Wolfsburg is inconsistent? Pretty much 1 in 2, what does he need to do - score in every game? I'm just saying what people who have seen him have said, i'm actually fairly confident that he'd score a fair amount for us in the Championship, but from what others have said and looking at his record, he's had one really good season at Wolfsburg which dwarfs his stats somewhat. He seems to be a player that scored 8-12 goals a season on average. Which isn't bad by any stretch.

So you're telling me that if you we're in that situation, you're walking down the tunnel, and your having a conversation with the opposition, you can't react to anything he says? The fact that you think he was actually pleased about conceding a goal, is just fucking ridiculous.

I'm sure he was very happy that the club that he's been at since he was a teenager, helped him develop into one of the best keepers in English football, has lived in the area his whole adult life, is attached to both the fans and the area, had conceded a goal to there arch rivals. You're sure of that. Again, he's a human, do you expect him to be emotionless?

How? Just because he's been injured, doesn't mean he's a shit player. It's not like he's actively going out to get injured, he's actually looked decent whenever he's played.

I still don't get why people get pissed off at this, do people actually think he was happy to concede a goal, especially to our rivals? It's like people expect footballers to be robots
