I just cannot wait till he has his ideal partner in Taylor again. I doubt even Kompany would relish in playing beside a partner whose confidence is shot to bits at times. Although I believe that Willo does seem to improve after any fatal blunder he commits. Could it be a case of fear of failure being washed away once it happens?

Didn't notice it, but fair point which could explain his loss of attacking play. He was actually beginning to look decent at the back end of Jose's last season. He began learning how to cross and nabbing some assists, but that seemed to change when Jose left. Makes me crave for a quality left-footed fullback all of a sudden. Also noticeable is how he never again partnered a leftie of the same defensive soundness as Jose.

Plus his crossing's rather limited. You never see him whip it in with pace and bend to cause trouble. Always lofted and tame, as if he renamed hoofing "crossing".

There's nowhere now in my opinion. He might benefit from playing less and being fresher. Aye. From the positions we've seen him play, he just lacks at least one thing crucial for such roles. Attacking Winger - He's lost a mile of pace, plus he never had the technique or skill to become an excellent one. Defensive Winger - Probably best, but again, he doesn't have that speed and sharpness as before. Central Midfield - Doesn't require pace, and Jonas has good work ethic. Now, can he pass? That's another story. Defensive Midfield - Works hard, but he doesn't have that grit and tackle in him to become a fully effective one. Probably his second best though. Full back - There's a reason why only Diego has believed in him as a fullback. In short, he's not got the pace or technique to play out wide, the passing to play central, nor the tackling to play a fully defensive role. Real shame that he's lacking in at least one area of each role because I really admire him as a professional.

When was the last time we actually picked up points here? All I associate this fixture with is not turning up.

18 pages. All I needed to know.

I'd find it absolutely awkward like if I were in a host city and my national team's playing somewhere else.

He probably hasn't been charged with murder yet because his shooting abilities are cack.

Love how he and Tiote opened their accounts with absolute belters off the weak side. Edit: that Bigi meme. -
Tastes very sweet indeed. Even sweeter in my part of the world as I woke up to the sight of Bigi's goal. Just what I needed to get through the last buttpain week before Christmas holiday break.

Pards is bound to face all his former clubs this season, tbh. -
Another week of upsets.

Set penises that do nothing but cut erect statues of our "aerial threats".

Is Douglas still keen on a move? Strong, good in the air, and has leadership qualities.

For me Ba isn't really the problem in that formation though. Playing 2 in the middle has us sitting too deep and when Cabaye and HBA get on the ball (our creative outlets) they're inside our own half and unable to influence the game as they should. In my opinion we either need two play two DMs and Cabaye in an advanced role in front of them and a front 3 or have Tiote sitting deep to protect with Cabaye and another in front of him getting forward, again with a front 3. Which is basically a 4-3-3. I also believe that it's the way to go, but knowing Pards there's about a better chance of us scoring from a set penis than him playing 4-3-3 consistently. My ideal 4-3-3 would be the one below, with Anita on for Jonas in the long run. Tiote Jonas Cabaye HBA Ba Cisse Anyway, I'm just trying to find other ways for him to implement his favored 4-4-2 with a different shape. The one I had above was a 4-4-1-1, which basically carries the same philosophies as Pards' 4-4-2, but specifically defines the support striker and the one leading the line. More ambitious would be this 4-2-3-1 below, though I think we need a proper attacking winger for it to work out. It could switch seamlessly with 4-4-1-1, depending on whether we're set out to attack or defend. Tiote Cabaye HBA Ba New WM Cisse
-
In the typical 4-4-2 we'd go HBA Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Cisse but I think lining up as HBA Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Cisse may give us a different perspective for almost the same formation.

I think I missed out on a lot of spot-on results last week by just the one goal. GW 15 1. 1-2 2. 3-1 3. 2-2 4. 4-1 5. 2-0 6. 3-2 7. 2-1 8. 1-3 9. 1-0 10. 2-1

I think teams are simply exploiting the one weakness I think he has: the long ball. He's sublime on the deck, but loft the ball over his curls and he's not the tallest nor the fastest to mop it up. Taylor perfectly complements Coloccini for these reasons imo. They're totally different defenders in what they're good and bad at.

Maritomiobi Still counts as a Ba assist for Cisse, right?

Only if we win silverware to show for it.
