  1. Set penises that do nothing but cut erect statues of our "aerial threats".
  2. Is Douglas still keen on a move? Strong, good in the air, and has leadership qualities.

For me Ba isn't really the problem in that formation though. Playing 2 in the middle has us sitting too deep and when Cabaye and HBA get on the ball (our creative outlets) they're inside our own half and unable to influence the game as they should. In my opinion we either need two play two DMs and Cabaye in an advanced role in front of them and a front 3 or have Tiote sitting deep to protect with Cabaye and another in front of him getting forward, again with a front 3. Which is basically a 4-3-3. I also believe that it's the way to go, but knowing Pards there's about a better chance of us scoring from a set penis than him playing 4-3-3 consistently. My ideal 4-3-3 would be the one below, with Anita on for Jonas in the long run. Tiote Jonas Cabaye HBA Ba Cisse Anyway, I'm just trying to find other ways for him to implement his favored 4-4-2 with a different shape. The one I had above was a 4-4-1-1, which basically carries the same philosophies as Pards' 4-4-2, but specifically defines the support striker and the one leading the line. More ambitious would be this 4-2-3-1 below, though I think we need a proper attacking winger for it to work out. It could switch seamlessly with 4-4-1-1, depending on whether we're set out to attack or defend. Tiote Cabaye HBA Ba New WM Cisse

In the typical 4-4-2 we'd go HBA Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Cisse but I think lining up as HBA Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Cisse may give us a different perspective for almost the same formation.
  5. I think I missed out on a lot of spot-on results last week by just the one goal. GW 15 1. 1-2 2. 3-1 3. 2-2 4. 4-1 5. 2-0 6. 3-2 7. 2-1 8. 1-3 9. 1-0 10. 2-1
  6. I think teams are simply exploiting the one weakness I think he has: the long ball. He's sublime on the deck, but loft the ball over his curls and he's not the tallest nor the fastest to mop it up. Taylor perfectly complements Coloccini for these reasons imo. They're totally different defenders in what they're good and bad at.

Maritomiobi Still counts as a Ba assist for Cisse, right?
  8. Only if we win silverware to show for it.
  9. F*** it let's just win this damn thing and see if they parade like Pacquiao in the streets of Manila. The basketball love is as unbreakable as Tony Hibbert's goal duck, and although football's rising here, it's pointless without football pitches as top-notch as the basketball facilities. Though we might get a proper 50k national stadium within the next two years. Honestly didn't expect the Malaysia result to go that way. Been looking into Singaporean pages and they seemed to be calling for their manager's head prior to the tournament. Maybe one of those typical "performing when it matters" stories. As it stands though, a Singapore-Philippines semifinal is on the cards.
  10. Aye. They'll be much stronger in the semis as well with more of their European-based players released. Would defo go see them if they make it then have the home leg in Manila. Was never the most ardent fan of the national team, but hey, if it gets everybody around me talking about football then I'm all for it.
  11. Suzuki Cup? Against who and what's the score? Vietnam 0-1 Philippines. Thailand currently one up v Myanmar as well.
  12. I just ran around my house celebrating a goal scored by the Philippines. I'm that desperate.
  13. It's just so uninspiring to go through another week on the back of an utterly gutless defeat. I wish we'd actually show some fight at least, but there's nothing at all. Wish we'd bewwwww them so bad in the next home game. It's the only way we can try to slap it into their consciousness.
  14. 1. 1-1 2. 2-1 3. 4-2 4. 2-1 5. 1-1 6. 2-0 7. 2-2 8. 3-2 9. 3-1 10. 1-2

    Alan Pardew

Magic. It's obvious that the only man behind any attacking flair in Newcastle United is Hatem Ben Arfa. I doubt it if the coaches actually put in anything new aside from introducing them to the cut and thrust of the sport of English hoofball.

Starting to look like Steve Kean. Utterly clueless pre-match, in match, and post-match.
  17. Aye, if I were a young lad it hardly inspires confidence if your experienced mates just don't have it.

Nobody could have spotted it but I'm sure there were signs. - Beginning the season with great optimism, when normally that fails so bad. Last season began with pessimism then turned out brilliantly. - Knowing that Europe would knacker us a bit. - Knowing Newcastle's ability to create contrasting scenes immediately after each other like black and white stripes. - Ashley having the unpredictability of Sammy Ameobi. - Pards never really registered a romp as a manager. In a club like NUFC, I doubt one ever fully writes himself into club folklore without dealing out any hammering. Now it's showing with our lack of bite in attack. - The no comeback stat still existed last season. Our team spirit really is overhyped. Things just went too well last season. It's nothing more than a mad dream that actually came true, really. When does NUFC have injury-free seasons with defensive solidity, and consistency? When does a clueless t*** become a manager of the year? When did we ever have great transfer windows in both flogging and buying? It just so un-NUFC in every way, so as much as I didn't expect this s*** I'm hardly surprised.

    Pardew Out?

I thought so too. But at the moment, it seems as if the Pardew we've all been fearing at the start has just showed up.

    Pardew Out?

Sacking helped get Manager of the Year Pardew in. Surely it could get this clueless t*** out?

  22. The plan was to get to Yewrup in five years. We went in early so we've got to go down and rebuild again.
